I always loved when you get the chain and hit your opponent it makes a crunch noise and you see the health mater go right down in one hit. Also the Wild Thing 2000 cheap made the game even funnier. My Dad use go play this game when I wasn’t playing it and I alway heard him laugh when he got stacked.
To avoid the game crashing keep pushing start as fast as you can to skip the cut scene after the race. You should be able to finish all ra ces with the cops.

Was it just me, or did everyone experience a glitch after the race with the cops? My game would always freeze during the "cutscene" whether I won or wrecked.

For me, I could use my turbo controller to get past the cutscene, but it would still freeze on its way to the main menu. No Wild Thing or any other cheats used.
Why didn't you post the cop race? I'd like to see that. I wish road rash would have put more secrets in the game(s) I love it none the less but that would have made it like Mortal Kombat 2 where we all had rumors about what secrets were in it like can you imagine if you could unlock a secret where Bill Clinton might say something to you before the race or find funny Easter eggs in throughout the race course. But ya I never knew there was a cop race at the end of level 5.

I can skip the end sequence but then it crashes after the end race message :(
The desert is the worse part to race in Arizona. Shoulda picked something like Flag Staff or far south.

No, I've done it without the wild thing and the race still happens. The cops just have whatever bike you have.

I don't think you can, no. Not in any of the original Road Rash games.
