- DIY FUN!! This furniture flip was a major failure at first.. second.. & probably even third.. etc.. In this video, I will take a Facebook Marketplace Bookshelf and create a Beautiful Weathered Cottage Farmhouse Hutch . Chalk Paint listed below. Refreshing old Hardware with Gold Metallic paint. I had so much fun (not at first) on this hutch and it is definitely Budget Friendly :) DIY Home Farmhouse Decor with a little visit from our sweet Courtney! (the inspector :)

I love the blue! Oh my gosh! It turned out so beautiful! The white dishes on the blue does pop. If you didn't go through the first color it wouldn't have turned out so amazing. Thank you for sharing your 'fail'. ❤

But you didn’t remove the previous orange finish or sanded before doing the light wash. That’s why it didn’t work out how you wanted
