16:42 omg that coaster is horrible... i love it! it even has lights and music, like who puts lights and music on such a contest, i can't imagine doing that, and i totally didn't made a rave box or something. btw inspiration for the rave box was rnrc. from Paris
just wanted to add some additional clarification, any additional movement, turning, hills and anything is allowed to be whatever you want, the only restriction that matters is related to the rolling. The new world's first inversion oh hyperia @ thorpe would also be allowed here because it only ever rolls in one direction, even though it turns the opposite way and stops rolling at 90° for a little it never rolls in the opposite direction!
The Challenge is a little confusing because once you're in a turn / rolling you're theoretically restricted to a zero g roll exit or a dive loop exit, in most cases you have to roll out of the element, say like a U turn, it stays banked in one direction only and doesnt cross 0 degrees but it goes from like -45 degrees to -20, is that considered rolling in the opposite direction?? unless im just not creative enough and cant figure this out....
Technically yes that is correct, its definitely a little difficult to keep track of, which is why I'm not trying to be super strict with it, but you have the idea right yes. some of the community has been asking for a "roll rate comb" feature for quite some time now that would work similar to the radius comb, but for roll rate that would make this challenge much easier to visualize.
@@intim305 One of my first thoughts was, “How absurd would a terrain coaster be given the space constraints?” Suffice to say, that question was my driving force 😂
can you bank the track either clockwise (right) or anticlockwise (left), ive already designed a coaster only banking left, made supports and whatnot so i really need to know what i can and or need to do :)
for this weeks clockwise comp its already open, its in the description at the bottom, for next week theres a new comp and form every friday at 7pm est as long as i can get the video out then
I made the custom tri tube track was done with supports.
thats kinda insane actually it looks spot on, respect

Had a bunch of fun participating in this week's challenge! Can't wait to get started on my submission for next week

Question, is it it can only do a full rotation or a clockwise rotation
it can only rotate in one direction, clockwise or counter clockwise, as many times as you like as long as it never rotates the other way

either way is ok as long as it stays consistent for the whole ride so you should be okay!

When does the submission form open for next weeks entries?
for this weeks clockwise comp its already open, its in the description at the bottom, for next week theres a new comp and form every friday at 7pm est as long as i can get the video out then
