I totally agree… in my opinion there is no other orchestra in the whole wide world which do grow to this excellent Metropol Orchestra... the sound is unequaled till today… every time I hear them guys play, it blows me away… simply breathtaking !!!

I'm not saying you are wrong. Metropole orchestra is a high level musical group, but you should listen others, like Orquestra Jazz Sinfonica Brasil. For me the concept of best in the world is difficult to define, because each orchestra, musical group or artist has its own characteristics, wich is essencial in a diverse world.
The greatest band in the world with the fantastic Vince Mendoza and the wonderful guitar playing of Peter Tiehuis!

Vince Mendoza es, ya desde sus colaboraciones con John Abercrombie y Marc Johnson, y luego con su Impresionante album "Sketches", la gran estrella de los arreglos y dirección para Big Band. Solo compone y arregla verdaderas joyas del jazz orquestal. Es lo máximo!!!
