I can see those "1000 blueprints" falling way short of the final number and the processing time for researching and upgrading being the biggest pain of the process. So new plan: my second most important and secret facility will be a basement or cave with a big as possible server farm to keep those timers ticking down in the background while im online. Unless i get a research Endeavor after all. But i think, you got the part of the catalysts partially wrong. As far as i took that they were only meant for material refining
I am really curious to see how CIG is going to manage defending and raiding of player homes in vulnerable areas. I am afraid it will turn into making an incredible sandcastle and a bully just coming over and knocking it down. The reverse being you can't just make it untouchable guarded by god (alt to Chris Roberts required).
I really like your videos but this one had soo many false statements in there, I'm really disapointed. Vehicles can go up to T5, everything else only to T3 Secondary components, the quality of those does not determine how much of the product is produced but how much of the secondary item you need for each production run. Low quality will require more material and vise versa. There was no mention at all for. T6 items that you can't craft but upgrade to or find. That would also ruin the entire crafting process if there would be something better than anything you can craft. There ia nothing above the Pioneer, not even for space stations, at least for now.
I think Base Building and crafting should be added to the game AFTER Drone Tech, Hacking, data running, science, exploration, Repair-rearm-Refuel, farming, shops, and people transportation game play loops are added to the game...
It all depends on the backend dependencies... whichever would be the most efficient and will require the least amount of rework and balancing afterwards. I'm not sure what that looks like.

I really hope that you get blue prints for the FPS gear you bought in the pledge store. I understand not having ship blue prints.
doubtful. personally i'm hoping when insurance is claimed you get back your upgraded piece instead of the base item

Crafting, along with buying and selling, will fill the void of 'meaningful progression' for me.
