Thank you for the idea of cutting the faces out of the pumpkin and adding a black strip to the back. So much easier than cutting out those tiny pieces.
You’re welcome. I cut out one set and decided it wasn’t going to be fun to try to glue the tiny face pieces to the pumpkins. Adding the black paper behind made it super easy. 😊

Got my kit a while back, so my cards for each grandchild are all done; I had so much fun creating all the shakers! Love Queen & Co’s special glue for the acetate... it really holds well. 😉 Tip: if you have google eyes like I did it makes the monsters even scarier!! Thanks for introducing me to all of Queen & Co’s shaker kits... I’m crazy about them all 👍.
Kristie, this kit is adorable. All of your cards are so cute. My favorites were the first slimline with all the monsters and the 3 same monsters in the circle. I did notice you put the bolts on Frankies ears, they actually go on his neck. I think the hair and eyebrows really make Frankie. He's so cute.

Dear Ms. Marcotte, How did you get the sketches. I understand that they are from different companies/artists that work for the companies. I am thinking that it would be nice to have a school binder with a cache of sketches for reference.
Hello Catherine! I have been printing out and collecting card sketches for many years. I have several sketch sites saved on my blog. Every week, I look to see if there are any new sketches I want to try. I just print out the sketches and keep them in an expandable file folder and also on my computer. 😊
Do you always have to have the foam layer for the shakers or will the coordinating dies work if cut multiple times? I worry about running out of the foam quickly.
No, you don't have to use the foam. You could use the dies from the kit and cut more foam or you could use cardstock and cut out several layers. I've used foam from a local craft store before and only needed two layers for they right thickness. If you purchase the outline dies, you can cut your own acetate as well.

I usually don’t like cutesy cartoon /animal type paper crafting but this is adorable and I love that orange monster and his wonky eyes . Super job!

Yes, I figure out the measurements and write them on the sketch. I do share the measurements on my blog, if you are interested.
