  • I get a lot of questions about my Cornish pedals, so in this video I am showing my personal favourite settings for the Pete Cornish CC-1 and G-2 pedals.
This video does not have a backing track and it is just me noodling around on the guitar and talking about how I like to use these wonderful pedals.
If you like the video please check out my demos of the Cornish pedals with backing tracks, thanks..

I was waiting for you to turn on the OC-1 with each pedal and both. The OC-1 is a magical line in source to gain pedals.

What does line in source mean? What does it actually do, what type of pedal is it?

i the CC-1 into the G-2, which is the opposite of what Pete suggests! Great work Simon as always

Thank you 😊 yeah, because the last pedal in line is the one that sort of defines the sound you get, Pete will usually advice you to have a cleaner sounding overdrive last in the signal chain. But for me it is the other way around. Cheers Simon

For you, this video may seem like it was five years ago, a long time ago, but I've watched it three more times only this month haha.
There are some people on RUclips who occasionally upload videos of Pete Cornish's pedals, but I can't find anyone like you who is very good at guitar and perfect at making sounds.
I sometimes use plug-ins in Logic or recent pruduct like kemper to record, but I feel that digital products haven't been able to compete with these quirky pedal sounds yet.
And I think it's wonderful that you were able to use these bit unique pedals for recording as well.
    Yeah your sound is amazing.
I watched your recent video and you don't have these pedals in your pedal board, have you stopped using these two anymore?
I think it depends on your taste and the environment you use..

Thank you very much. I am glad you like my video. Great pedals for sure. I used these pedals almost exclusively when I played a lot of live gigs for about 1o years straight (around 50 shows a year) . They always worked and just sounded great with my Vox AC30. Now I work mostly in the studio with many different amps and need something a little bit different. So I have a few pedalboards, lots of amps, some modelling stuff and racks full of pedals everywhere ha ha :) Whatever the song needs ;) Cheers Simon

David Hartly True. They are expensive compared to most other pedals, definetly. But they sure sound great. Cheers Simon

If you buy one a year, in 3 years you'll have 3 great pedals.

How much do these cost in $? Do they sell these in USA? I saw on the site they got the cost in BP and Euros but not $. Seems they dont sell here, if not shown in $ also.

The tone sounds cold flat and sterile here, "sorry, I mean no harm!"
what the amplifier and speakers you use and how you record them "microphone type and distance etc?
I have the same pedals but mine sounds warm and cuddly.

What is that horrible smell in the studio? Everytime you start to play a lick, you get a look on your face like someone just shit their pants. Stinky-stinky.
