It's a very small thing but what could possibly be the point in moving a cup around that has nothing in it, when he actually pretended to take a sip there is not the merest hint of a slight noise of liquid. Just why?? He constantly moved the cup from sitting position to halfway. It's a good analogy to his style of speech/storytelling; almost saying something, on the verge of being interesting! I don't like to be negative as I like Ian and he's a pretty good interviewer, but he's definitely running out of ideas; his guests are either uninteresting, or slightly off bullshit artists, or both! It's oversaturated is the podcast scene and Ian has a medium-large platform and is either struggling to find or pay for good guests, or has made some half decent scratch and has become complacent. He's really going to need to pull it back and that's just honesty not "hating".

My platform is different in the sense that it’s open to all Indians from all walks of life that have been affected by the criminal justice system and don’t normally get the opportunity to share their story on other platforms. Because of that, not every guest will be a good talker or story teller. But it’s my mission to give everyone a voice that reaches out and wants to share their story. And when a viewer doesn’t like that particular guest, there’s plenty of other episodes for viewers to resonate with

I give him props for taking accountability, however, what is a sucker and I say that in a rhetorical manor, meaning a guy who works a 9-5 and takes care of his kids/family might say, someone that continues to do street life is a sucker, or if me that served 25 years in the military with combat, and you NEVER served 1 day is a sucker, I don’t get that, there is a huge difference between a soldier and a street soldier lets be clear and I have had conversations with a former friend who used to brag that he was in every building in Rikers Island and in the same breath say he was a great father, he was a terrible father, I spent 5 days in Rikers Island and I am ashamed of that, however, I own it but don’t gloat on it, I knew I never wanted to go back to a place like that, who is proud that they are locked away from family, living like a caged animal among people of your same sex, if you do it more then once it makes you think about the term insanity, meaning if you do the same thing and expect other results that’s insane. Just why?? He constantly moved the cup from sitting position to halfway. It's a good analogy to his style of speech/storytelling; almost saying something, on the verge of being interesting! I don't like to be negative as I like Ian and he's a pretty good interviewer, but he's definitely running out of ideas; his guests are either uninteresting, or slightly off bullshit artists, or both! It's oversaturated is the podcast scene and Ian has a medium-large platform and is either struggling to find or pay for good guests, or has made some half decent scratch and has become complacent. He's really going to need to pull it back and that's just honesty not "hating".
I appreciate the feedback brother. My platform is different in the sense that it’s open to all Indians from all walks of life that have been affected by the criminal justice system and don’t normally get the opportunity to share their story on other platforms. Because of that, not every guest will be a good talker or story teller. But it’s my mission to give everyone a voice that reaches out and wants to share their story. And when a viewer doesn’t like that particular guest, there’s plenty of other episodes for viewers to resonate with

I give him props for taking accountability, however, what is a sucker and I say that in a rhetorical manor, meaning a guy who works a 9-5 and takes care of his kids/family might say, someone that continues to do street life is a sucker, or if me that served 25 years in the military with combat, and you NEVER served 1 day is a sucker, I don’t get that, there is a huge difference between a soldier and a street soldier lets be clear and I have had conversations with a former friend who used to brag that he was in every building in Rikers Island and in the same breath say he was a great father, he was a terrible father, I spent 5 days in Rikers Island and I am ashamed of that, however, I own it but don’t gloat on it, I knew I never wanted to go back to a place like that, who is proud that they are locked away from family, living like a caged animal among people of your same sex, if you do it more then once it makes you think about the term insanity, meaning if you do the same thing and expect other results that’s insane. Ian I do love how you keep the interviews entertaining and you own what you did, and you wanted better and I say that and all this with no judgement, other then we only have one life, I’m glad that Denard is out now and continues is dream of making music. ✌️
