As with most ALL your videos: this series on the AZAMARA South Africa Cruise was inspiring, entertaining, heart-warming, and complete! We are booked for the AZAMARA Pursuit Cruise in February. Can't wait to show all 4 or your episodes to my wife, our friends and neighbors. Cheers!
Really enjoyed your 4 part series for your Feb 10, 2020 Azamara Quest cruise as we were on this same cruise as well. We had a lovely time on the Quest and a fantastic time in South Africa. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we had to cancel many AZ cruises but hopefully will be able to be back on the sea with Azamara in 2022 for the cherry blossoms in Japan in March/April and a bit of the summer in Iceland. Cheers! John T.
Thank you so much! Crime rates in certain parts of the world are always a worry. We've been to a few that would cause concern but you just have to be vigilant and not do anything naive or against advice. South Africa is BEAUTIFUL!
I have sailed Azamara a couple of times. Not cheap, but they make you feel very warm and welcomed. I look forward to another Azamara cruise.... if this damned virus ever relents.
I really enjoyed watching your video of my old stomping ground, especially the Oyster Box in uMhlanga, a stones thrown from my home. I smiled at some of your pronunciations but it was wonderful to see both South Africa and Azamara. We will hopefully be sailing with them again soon.
Sea Days ARE wonderful :) Both wineries looked great, though too bad the following one served most at once upfront. The color- as you pan the wine bottles at 4:58 - is amazing (I’m not surprised at this from you, really). Ooooh, I love Twee Gevreetjie 😜 Great setting for the AzAmazing evening.
Wonderful video. Whilst you were on the Quest we were on the Pursuit, disembarking in Buenos Aires on 2nd March. At that point the threat of Covid seemed a long way away and we were envious of those staying on for the next itinerary. But things changed very quickly and the Pursuit was forbidden from docking at any of the planned ports of call. Eventually the only option was to take everyone up the west side of South America, through the Panama Canal and home to Miami. All three Azamara ships are now mothballed on the Clyde canal in Glasgow until cruising can restart.
Thank you and I'm glad you eventually made it home. We knew some people on board that voyage, so we know how fabulously you were treated by staff. :) Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Please consider subscribing (if you haven't done so already) as we have a LOT more brilliant travel content coming up!
It certainly was! Windy though, but a nice clear day nonetheless. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Please consider subscribing (if you haven't done so already) as we have a LOT more brilliant travel content coming up!
What did you do on the last day? We are looking at this cruise for December and realise the flight will be in the evening. I know Azamara will want everyone off the ship asap. Do not want to spend several hours hanging around the airport. Cheers, Mick
Thanks for watching Mick 👍 I’m afraid I can’t help you - we flew to Port Elizabeth after our cruise for a land safari which we would throughly recommend 😍
Thanks for sharing. We have somewhat limited bandwidth, both in total usage and in speed. BUT, when it's one of your videos I go from 360p to 720p to better enjoy your photography.
@@visitwithus Oh, I understand. My monitors are useless above 1080. :-( Your videography and editing make it worth the time and bandwidth to up my paltry 360 to 720. Now you really need to go sail on Hebredian Princess. Those videos would be lovely! Yes, we've been on her. Very interesting little ship. I guess first you have to be able to move around Briton enough to get to Scotland etc. ^&%$#$%^ pandemic!!
Question...we are looking at taking Azamara from Lisbon to Rio...worried about small ship rolling in seas? for days on end...Me no problem...wife not so much :-(

You will think its unreal that's how beautiful CT is🤣🤣🤣
Nederburg makes excellent, and low priced wines. In Canada, around $11.95
We really enjoyed the day! :D
Hello Rich and Helen. Thanks for this video today. Arrived at just the right moment here. Hope all is well across the pond.
Hi Jeremy. Just catching up on the comments lol! Hope you're keeping safe! :D

Us too! 😢
With the new virus strain, I think that Africa is off the cruising table for a while.
That's a huge shame. I really feel for South Africa. :(
Question...we are looking at taking Azamara from Lisbon to Rio...worried about small ship rolling in seas? for days on end...Me no problem...wife not so much :-(
Well, every ship of every size moves about a bit in lively seas. A transatlantic has the propensity to be a bit ‘swelly’.
