Sharing our stories of how addiction and recovery have impacted our lives is one of the most effective ways to eliminate stigma.
At Recovery Reinvented 2021, North Dakotans from across the state - representing tribal communities, people in healthcare, business, and elected office - shared their recovery stories from the stage to help show the diverse experiences and stories of North Dakotans who have found recovery.
The eighth storyteller of Recovery Reinvented, Kristy, is a mom in recovery, a peer support specialist, and a community advocate.
