Raquel is sick and cruel to do this to the one person who has defended her and has had her back all this time when the mean girls rejected her. Ariana was so good to her and she did not deserve any of Ariana’s kindness. Tom Scandyoval is a sleeze gross lying creeper. He lied so much about his relationship w Ariana to minimize the affair and rationalize his actions in order to justify the ugly scandal. He continued to disrespect, embarrass, and humiliate Ariana by giving that treacherous interview w the OCD celebrity guy, Howie Mandel. He is unredeemable and needs to get psychiatric help for his narcissism and pure unadulterated selfishness.

Real people acting involved. I remember once I was at the mansion and they were filming a girls next door show and Bridget walked in and she didn’t like the wash she walked in and laughed or said whatever she said and she was like can we re do that and they re shot the whole walk down the stairs. So something stupid as not walking perfectly in front of the camera I can imagine all the fake content with these newer reality shows.
Lol. If you watch closely there are always clips inserted awkwardly and voice overs that sound different or outfits and hair and makeup looking slightly different yet it is suppose to be reality and flowing. But only if you are keen enough owise it looks perfect and believable 😅😅

All this just explains why I thought Tom looked so GUILTY and couldn't understand why he was crying SO HARD when Raquel and James announced their breakup on the last season's reunion.
Tom is a dirtbag for sure, but I do believe he broke up with Arianna on VDay after the one nightstand with Raquel, but like he has stated multiple times Arianna never accepted it and played the mental card to make him stick around. They both checked out of this relationship, but only Tom is being judged, Arianna stepped out on Tom a few years ago with Lala if everyone remembers the “ate her cookie” episode and Tom didn’t leave her or treat her badly and they were supposedly in a good relationship then.

It's been an issue for a number of years I think and coupled with family deaths recently, I reckon that you're right, Ariana is not the same girl who met Scandoval years ago.
But then, we're all like that - we are never again, who we were in the past. It's how we try to remain true to the essence of ourselves, our authentic self - that's what matters. Ariana seems to struggle to remember that essence but finds it when she loves others like Rachel.
Scandoval refuses to look back - which is good & bad - & is constantly trying to be more - also good & bad but is doing so by sucking the energy out of everyone around him - Schwartz, Ari, Rachel etc... he's even more unhappy with himself and his lot. Like a race against time and old age.
I think Ariana will thrive now. She's off Scandoval's rollercoaster ride and can pace herself and wellbeing better.
