I noticed some folks inquiring about the price for these CX-70's Turbo S Premium trim, and in the Chattanooga, TN area, they are asking $53,905.00. In Murfreesboro, TN, they have one for $54,670.00.. In the Atlanta, GA Turbo S Premium trims are going for those above-mentioned prices. If you go for the Premium Plus Turbo S, it looks like the prices are around $59,000 to $61,000 from Chattanooga, TN, to Atlanta, GA. If I wanted one, I would get the CX-70 Turbo S Premium like these on this video, as I don't think the Premium Plus trim offers enough value over the Premium trim.
@JSS you are welcome, sir. I'm the owner of a 2022 CX-9, which I do enjoy very much, but on down the road, I would certainly be willing to come down to your dealership and look at either a CX-90 or CX-70, if I was able to negotiate a good out the door price at your location. I appreciate your videos and your willingness to share your knowledge about Mazda.
I wish the CX-70 would’ve been more like the CX-60 they got in Australia and then if they really wanted this, just sell a SPORT trim of the CX-90 with all the Sporty fake vents and third row delete.
I drove a CX-90 Plug-in Hybrid as a loaner while my CX was being serviced. It was beautiful it felt too much for me. I get pretty good mileage on my CX but would definitely consider a CX-90 if I were to need something bigger.
3:31 Are the gloss black wheels that are provided in Canadian CX-70s available as an option in the States? Are they even sold on the Mazda Accessories website here in the States?
And let’s point out those mystery cupholders for nobody that Mazda didn’t bother replacing with new interior panels after they left the 3rd row seat out….lazy Mazda
Hi Jonathan I will be coming out of a cx90 lease in a few months. I am in South Florida. I was thinking it might be beneficial to possibly lease a cx90 or cx 70 from you instead of Florida. High fees here.
If they made the CX70-CX90 in polymetal grey, with that interior and all the emblems/accents like that, it would look AWESOME. I bought a CX9 Carbon Edition, because of your reviews. Thank you! 😊
@@JSS keep us posted please this the one big issue keeping me from buying one. I expect that there eight speed will get to perfection like they’re six speed has been and I hope it’s soon.
Thank you for continuing to show love to Mazda. As a happy owner of a '24 CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus, I appreciate your praise of what Mazda tried to accomplish with this sexy CX-70. If people cannot get past the CX-90 similarities, oh well!
There are plenty of Mazda dealerships that post Mazda reviews on RUclips. (Yawn) Jonathan happens to provide content that's balanced- he's found a happy medium between realism (Mazda obviously has it shortcomings) and enthusiasm (Mazda tries to offer some serious bang for our bucks). I was just giving Jonathan his flowers. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's interesting that Mazda apparently doesn't feel that the 40-20-40 rear seat arrangement in the CX-5 is worth doing in the other crossovers (CX-30/50/70/90).
We have a CX90, when I fold the third row of seats it becomes a CX70, with the same trunk volume, and most importantly my CX90 has a spare third row of seats, which the CX70 does not have. The CX70 should cost less with the third row of seats removed, but it is more expensive. Before the CX70 was unveiled, I think many people, like me, expected the CX70 to be a North American version of the CX60. It was disappointing that Mazda brought a two-row CX90. We wanted a new CX70 with a size similar to the CX60, not a two-row CX90.
doesn’t the 3rd row in a cx90 fold flat for storage? if they do, then wouldn’t it make sense to have the 90 and fold the seats down if you don’t need them but then you still have a 3rd row?
Beautiful! Love the red leather, the different wheels, the exterior accents and black chrome! This is the one for me, in Soul Crystal Red Metallic, of course ☺️
Machine Grey or PQM are the only two colors I would be interested in. But alas.... Why such a disappointing color palette? The PQM I can understand, but no Machine Grey? Canada is lucky their product planners don't have their heads up their _____
OMG... they really did leave in the 3rd row cup holders from the CX-90 plastic mold!!! LOL. At a price point above $50K, I'd think a folded 3rd row CX-90 has more utility... unless you just really love the extra storage capacity. Otherwise, this seems to be another attempt to "go luxury" in a segment where everyone wants to "go luxury". For Mazda, that's okay... I wonder more when someone like Toyota desires to place time and effort in the Crown Signia when they leave a whole Lexus line to be cannibalized. I still think CX-5 and CX-50 remains the Mazda sweet spot.
Everyone is saying the 70 is too long i been driving a 2016 cx9 they are the same size i have never used the 3rd seat but I need the room for trips the 70 is the perfect Mazda is is what Mazda has been trying to make the 90 is a 70 with a 3rd row and a test car so they could get the 70 perfect if you look at the 90 competitors the gcl gh tx traverse they are are about 205 inches Mazda is not in to 3 row cars they only had 3 choices in the last 18 years the only reason i had cx9s is for the room not for the 3rd row finally they made the perfect car
Nice styling but the powertrain is too new & not proven.. Plus Mazda’s 1st attempt at a hybrid isn’t reassuring. I’ll stick with the proven reliable CX9…
Mazda please black out the cx 90, add ventilated seats to more trims and add all the same colors to the cx 90. Also a grand higher lander max shouldn’t be faster than the cx 90.
You are part of the problem.. we dont need a 200+” 5 seater. What would we say if BMW x5 was just a 5 seat x7? They needed to make this 6-8” shorter to drop weight and create more zoom zoom vs the cx90… I hope this doesn’t sell so Mazda will learn their lesson.
Darn you with that jingle. I’ve been singing it all day. Love your videos. I just bought a CX-50 two weeks ago because of your videos. Good work
🤣 Thank you! I’m glad you like it, and congratulations on your new CX-50! 💙
Wish Mazda would bring the CX-5 40/20/40 seat split to the CX-70 and CX-90!

Hopefully the hybrid third gen cx-5 fills the gap left by not right sizing this vehicle.
This cannot be said enough....
I believe this will be a home run for Mazda; thanks for sharing Sir.
Why? It's the same price as a CX 90 without a row of seats. Seems like a rip off to me
And to me it's not a rip off because there's not a third row that I don't need. @@maxxbenzz7842
@@maxxbenzz7842 agreed
It’s not the same price. If you’ve been keeping up with this model, they lowered the price. Look it up
@@BigdogLarry I have to look up the prices if that’s the case

Mhev or phev which one is better in terms of performance nd fuel economy?? Any recommendations??

Price for the 2 vehicles in this video? Is the cx-70 priced less than the cx-90 since it does not have the third row seating?
I will be buying one soon I'm going to get the poly Grey with red interior as soon as they get some in Pittsburgh
My favorite colorway

Not in my research. In fact, there are no alternate wheel accessories period! BMW gives you 6 to 8 wheels and about $30,000 more out of your pocket! 🚙

Yes that does make sense if you need third row. Some just want large cargo capacity.
Nice!

Is the spare mounted underneath, or is it inside under the tools?
It’s accessible from inside. Modern cars have aero covers on bottom, no more spare fitted from outside or bottom of undercarriage
Have you seen the recalls on the turbos for the Lexus and Toyotas get that turbo off of that cx70 and just leave it at 6 cylinder naturally aspirated
That would be neat, but I haven’t seen any recalls on Mazda Turbos. 🤔
My GT-P has black weels here in Quebec 😊
I wish they gave that option in the States…..
where is the cx-70 and 90 built ?
Japan
have 2024 cx50. 3 months old. absolutely NO information on how to use Mazda navigation ???????

I love it and want to upgrade but its just too big. Why Mazda. I guess I'll just wait for the next CX5 (Hybrid)
Mazda should have designed a Cross Sport SUV for the CX 70 and made it a little smaller than the CX 90.
I would take this over a German any time of the day
"2 Rows Are Better" I agree. I have a Rhodium White Turbo S Premium in my garage now. Love it 😁

This seems to be an unpopular opinion but I don't really care for the red interior. 🤷♂ Personal preference I guess.

The CX-9 has a pretty well documented coolant leak issue that can grenade the engine, so...
Mazda please black out the cx 90, add ventilated seats to more trims and add all the same colors to the cx 90. Also a grand higher lander max shouldn’t be faster than the cx 90.
Pertaining to the seats being folded down, the CX-90 has a large gap, which was a turn off, for me. CX-70, much better.
