Hi Bob, This was first time hearing Gigi De Lana, and I'm in love with her vocals. She sings in a way that you can understand the vocals. She pronounces each word clearly instead of dropping off the end of a lyric and she sings the song beautifully without all of the vocal acrobatics that some singers like to use when it's not necessary. I appreciate a vocalist that just sings the song without the showing off. I'm impressed!
Her Better Days rendition is so good and Gigi is an amazing and a very versatile singer. She is so good and sings effortlessly. She is so entertaining to watch and a RUclips sensation.

First time I heard her, Karen Carpenter came to mind immediately too. Then she blew me away with her range later as well. Hahaha. My favorite artists today are Mori, Katrina and Gigi. Simply amazing sangers.

Really nice reaction Bob, thanks... Yes, it's always fun to watch Gigi's streams, they really enjoy what they are doing, singing and playing together at a very high level, entertaining themselves and their audience. The sessions always have a very casual feel, they are reading the live chat, interacting with their audience, taking up song requests (so most of the songs are done spontaneously without rehearsal, she just checks with the GG Vibes "do you know that song?" and off they go...Gigi is streaming weekly for about one to two hours and the songs you just heard are just an outtake from one of her streams (so there are her complete streams with setlist and timestamps in the description, and there are some songs, but by far not all, isolated as single videos). Usually Gigi will chose the one she considers best, but I have some favorites still hidden in the streams... anyway I join her streams whenever I have time to do so, it's really fun listening real time, chatting with her audience from all over the world, and if you're lucky she'll sing your song request for you...

I laughed when you said she was the queen of mid-range. I wanted to see your reaction once she started belting. The difference between her and other belters is that she does not overdo the belting, the riffs and runs which I find distracts from the integrity of the song.
