Thank you for mentioning not running or walking your Husky (or really any dog for that matter) on hot as hell asphalt. I once watched a dumb couple at Petsmart yelling at their dog because it would not sit down on boiling hot asphalt in 100 degrees Texas summer weather. They kept yelling at the dog and pushing it's butt down on the boiling pavement. It did not want to sit on it or much less keep its feet still there, yet they kept punishing it. I started to walk over to remind them the dog was not wearing shoes like they were, but they left before I could get there. People really are incredibly dumb sometimes.

I always say that any behavior problems we deal with are my fault cause I wasn't more consistent. At the end of the day he seems to b pretty well adjusted and any bad behavior problems are few and far apart 😍
Mine was in a cage (or crate as you Americans say) most of his early doggy life. He quite liked it, eventually we stopped locking the door to it, and he would go into it automatically, opening it up with his paw and he would even do this strange thing where he flicked his tail and somehow shut the door on himself (he could still piush it back open if he wanted to). He liked it. Eventually we realised having the door was pointless if we never locked the thing, so we took the door off, at that point we had long trusted him to be ok with the house. Took the door off and evntually removed the cage. Did the same with our young cocker spaniel when we got her. Neither dog has any issues being left on their own around the house nowadays. But ye, as pups they enjoyed being in their cage and it was better for them as well.
I just want to take the time to say thank you for all your husky advice/training videos. I have a three month old Siberian Husky puppy and I’ve learned so much!! If you could please do more videos on separation anxiety as my puppy cries for every time I step away (bathroom breaks etc) Also, a video on a variety of toys appropriate for puppies. I’ve bought so many and even ones that i get advised to buy and puppy still manages to still try and eat them. It’s become super scary as she ate a foreign body three days ago. Thank god she’s ok 💙 I keep her on a leash and always supervised and if not able to she has her crate. It worries me because In a split second she will eat whatever she can. I love my puppy so much and I’m learning as I go. Lastly, due to her anxiety she’s also not good with strangers which is why I’ve made the decision to take her for puppy classes because I want her to meet more friends and just be the super friendly loving dog she’s with me.
I got my first husky from my landlord. We were sharing the house together . He has it since it was a pup. He had two I heard but he could not keep two so he sold one. The male one that he kept did not get enough attention and walk, he chewed everything , he always want to escape. But now since I have him, I walk him twice a day? Give much attention I could, treat him well, feed him well. It’s very good boy. Very calm. At 2-3 years old he never chews anything. When I open the gate he just say there watching me reversing my car out without even bother having any escaping thought. He is not interested in yummy treat and unfortunately I could not train him more. And I am getting a husky puppy soon which I hope I will have a chance to train her at a very young age so it will be less stress for me and will bring more joys to both me and her.
I train my huskies (I have 13 of them) during the winter and even though it won't burn their feet, I avoid running on asphalt as it also scraps along their nails. I've had several cases where I did it a little to much and boom, blood starts coming out from between their little toes.
Kieran Broome i was just given a Husky Malemute mix, female, she seems ok with my male Shihtzu but i worry her and the female Shihtzu ,,, my Tzues are both elderly,,,, i do not leave her alone with them unattended.
Princess Arwen (I was Queen) was loving, intelligent, & most stubborn dog I ever had. And yes EVERYTHING had her hair on it, but it was well worth it. Thanks for your info, its important for the proper care of Siberian husky.
I have a 8 week old Siberian husky yes it’s the most adorable thing but those teeth are sharp but only bitten in play form she is very calm and quite loves deep voices and a great dog overall
Yeah ik myself I was doing pt with some of my friends that are in the marines and they made me do push-ups on hot asphalt and my entire palm blistered in just 10 seconds it was the middle of summer middle of the day in sin city
Lol you're a trip my man. I love your videos and they are very helpful. I just brought home a Husky and named him Ghost. Your videos have helped me so much. Subbed 😊🐕
So I actually just got a husky/lab mix. She’s 8 months and she was being given away for free on fb.😢 this is her 3 rd home. I wish I would have known a bit more about the husky side before hand. Because I’m actually disabled…I was in a severe car accident. I also have 3 small chiweenies and 3 cats. But my heart just felt so bad for her. they didn’t do any kind of training with her at all. She seemed like a problem they just wanted rid of. I have a half acre with a 6 foot privacy fence. So she has plenty of room to run. But she has separation anxiety really bad. Which is understandable. Anyways I’m so worried that I won’t be able to train her. When I met her she was pulling on the leash and barking at everything. I been watching your videos to see if I can train her. I immediately got her a crate. Which I’m new to crate training. She’s a real sweet heart but she wants to play with my little dogs and she don’t know her own strength. Anyways I hope I can get her to be like your two beautiful behaved huskies. I will never give up on her. Cause I just don’t do that. I believe owning a dog is a life long responsibility. But I’m worried that I may not be able to handle her energy. 😔 any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Ye, I always check the tarmac for my two. And a Welsh farmer once told us general rule of thumb with dogs (he said all dogs, not just huskies) that unless under special circumstances. A male will fight a male, a female will fight a female, a female will fight a male, but a male will never fight a female. Therefore having two of the opposite sex is generally a safer bet. I did cage-train my two, but neither are in cages anymore as adults. They are fine left alone. And cocker spaniels are much like huskies in that they are into everything, are a really intelligent energetic breed which means they are much more likely to get into trouble. But, nah mine is fine. She has her chilled out labrador freind to amuse her. Also, ye, I encourage my two to play, it's better for them. My lab is 7 now and he still plays with his toys quite happily and he's got good lean muscles. Will serve him well into his senior years. They also go for decent walks.
I feel sorry for my sister’s husky. He’s always being left alone in the backyard. Sometimes fed once or just dog food. Not getting much attention. No exercise. Owner is lazy. I sometimes wish the dog just run away and find a better home. 😕
Thank you for educating folks about these Huskies. They are sweet beautiful puppers. 💋💋💋💋 All dogs and different breeds should be respected for their different quirks! Primarily they should be loved!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ God Bless you and your babies!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻
Britney Spears has a cute little mouse face with his little black whiskers standing out against his white snout. Hila looks like an Egyptian Queen with her exotic cat eye liner look on her icy blue eyes. Huskies are such gorgeous dogs. 🥰🐾 I find their time lapse photos from puppyhood to adulthood very interesting because their fur colors & patterns shift so much in between. It would be cool to see you do a video on that sometime.
My husky would get too stressed out when I would leave him in a cage, so that only lasted for 2 months from when he was 6-8 months old. After that he’s been left out of the cage and unsupervised for 8-10 hours a day while im at work. Never destroyed furniture, he’ll pull out 1 piece of paper out of the garbage and tear it up but that literally happens like once every 4-6 months, he has bitten a remote before but it was literally one bite, one tooth mark on top and one on the bottom and he completely disabled the remote lmao very surgical. Idk I really got lucky with my dog hes an angel and he isnt fixed either. Hes also a “rescue”, found him wandering the streets as a pup no collar or chip. I was very strict with him when he was younger and never gave him a pass. Huskies are very smart if they do something wrong and you dont reprimand them, you bet they’re gonna do it again, even if you forget to reprimand them one time.
My husky was adopted at after being a lost dog at nearly 2 years old and he won’t stop peeing on furniture and in the hallways despite being brought out side constantly or the back door being left open for him to go outside. He also poops, tore up all my blinds, my couch, won’t crate train because of severe anxiety chewing up and bloodying his mouth and feet, he jumps up onto the dining table and lays there and anything he wants to do he pretty much does it he clawed the siding off of my front door! Help I’m going crazy because I love him and don’t want to get rid of him but I don’t think I can handle this much longer and I love animals. I don’t have the money for a trainer for him. Idk what to do! Please help if anyone has an idea of how to cause him to stop doing these things. Otherwise he’s the sweetest dog ever and it’s hard to be mad at him with his personality, but it’s literally like he just doesn’t care even will do it right in front of your face without thinking twice. He only chews things up and gets into food left out when we’re gone, but I can’t be home 24/7 to watch everything he does. Ugh 😩
1hour walk plus two 20-30mins walks every day and I still probably don't exercise her enough...lol. These dogs love to run so make sure you take them out or they will let you know with chewed up remotes and furniture. Nothing more dangerous to your stuff than a bored husky. Also crate training early is key and DO NOT ever use you crate as a punishment tool or a time out tool especially when crate training. You want your dog to feel like that's their house and not their jail or they'll feel like they are being punished every time you leave. As for leaving them un-crated with patience and training you can get there but I warn you they'll be growing pains and some Huskies might never get there I'm not an expert. I can leave dog for hours and come back she is either lying by stairs in weird position or on the couch so I rarely crate her. However and I can not stress this enough growing up they will tear your house up if you leave them alone. You will come home to war zones but after a while many destroyed items I can finally go to work come back 8hrs later and she hasn't destroyed my house. Also it helped that trained her destructive instinct out of her when i rented now that I own I don't have to worry lol.
I just got a puppy at 8 weeks old and i dont know what to do at all. I have some questions if someone could answer them. 1. How do i get started on potty training it? 2. How do you get ur puppy to stay put and sit? 3. How do you get your puppy to listen and come to you?
Kenny Le there’s a LOT of puppy training videos online or you can take a class. When we had a puppy we would just take them outside frequently and whenever they used the bathroom inside the house we put her outside. Also consider puppy diapers if you don’t want to be cleaning up constantly
@@Nu_Tella_Live Alright thx, i rlly appreciate it. We ended up giving the dog back to its owner because im not home at all to take care of it. I really appreciate your help and time though!
I've heard a lot of people over the years talking about asphalt and dog paws and even though I live in South Florida, in almost every case when my dogs have the choice between the grass or the road/sidewalk they always choose the road/sidewalk. I don't think the hot asphalt affects most dogs paws the way people claim. Maybe little dogs but certainly not working dogs.
The thick double coat that huskies have actually keep them cool longer than the average coat. When they get hot they will take longer to cool down though
We takeout husky on daily walks around the neighborhood. We would do more during the week but we are just so busy with school and work, but when the weekend comes around we bring out the big guns! We run our dogs at least a mile every day to get all the pent up energy out and to not have them go stir crazy! They love it!!!!
I can vouch for the first fact about two girls . I’ve had one husky for about 2 years and she’s never been a lone, I’ve recently moved by myself and she’s flip out while I was at work so I was looking for a friend and the pound had a female husky , no research and I got her. There both the sweetest pups but sometimes get into the most random fights for no reason and yet they both love each other . A very strong love hate relationship
Hey so my family recently brought a husky home. She’s awesome to play to with but idk when I’ll be able to start walking her? She’s only two months old and it’d be great to know when to start?
I am in Florida too! I’m in the keys, I’d love to hear about how your Husky is out in the day time heat? My pup plain just doesn’t like to go out in it. Our house kept cold ( 67°)& I think he is just spoiled
Nice info, Buuutt... 1) yeah having 2 female is a daily battle, not only for attention but also for who is number 1... 2) cutting the coat. I live in a very warm country(not smart with these kinds of dogs - I know) But I cut the fur 1-2 times a year. Just the top coat. And it really helps them a lot. They get a lot more active after being shaved and as they still have the thick undercoat they seems fine and happy and a lot more play full... And the strange thing is that only one of them grow back the full coat. The other have now for 5months not grown back the top coat. The other have again a full coat. And guess who is the most active... the one who don't have the double coat back..
Do you have any recommendations for treats? I just got a husky & I've tried all kinds of treats so I can start training him but he won't eat any of them.🙁
my husky Riley gets over that gate but neither over them can get over the 4 foot chain link fence. They're good boys. They're both fixed so they have no desire to wander. They're too busy stalking the squirrels up in the pecan tree!! They LOVE watching those squirrels boy!!
I am getting one soon just my main concern is I am working overnight. Can you leave your puppy alone overnight? Even when they are adult ? Thank you very much
Also, when shaving a husky, or any dog with double coat, It sometime messes the growth of the new hair, its called Post Clipping Alopecia, anyone with this kind of dog should look it up!
I had two female huskies. Had zero hostility/aggression problems. Even with two for each other's company, they still can get bored easily though and get into trouble until well into old age. I could certainly leave them alone long enough to go outside or in the garage for a few minutes. Mine were never THAT much in need of attention.
When I leave my husky loose when I am gone he doesnt destroy anything, he just pee’s everywhere, even if I took him out before I left..I’m assuming it’s separation anxiety.
Nothing i did worked for my husky. He just stopped peeing in the house all of a sudden. I kept him in a kennel while I would go to work and I think that is what caused his anxiety. But with yours, as young as it is, you really have to stay on top of taking it out all the time.
He’s 3 years old now and the most chill dog. I dont have him in the kennel anymore when I leave (thanks to quarantine). He pretty much sleeps all the time.
Same. Properly train them so they can fully enjoy their lives indoors and outdoors, then everything will be fine. As this people here commenting about how to create train and I'm like, why, just why? My huskies have never seen the inside of a crate and they even go inside of planes (sit next to me all 8) when we leave the country
mum bought a husky, he's only 3 months old but majority of the house is too busy to play with him so he's asleep most of the time, I feel sorry for him after watching this, but how might this affect his well-being?
I love my wooly siberian husky. She is 8 months old and still loves to chew on EVERYTHING in the backyard. I have all sorts of plans like red raspberries, small tree and the have been shredded. Will this chewing end????? 🤔
I wonder if they've made technological advances in cement and asphalt that keeps them cooler? ... I walk my dog every day -- sometimes in 100-degree heat during the summer -- and this was a huge concern when I first got her. But whether we're walking on the sidewalk or at the park on an asphalt path, I've put my hand down and it's never been so hot I can't hold it there for as long as I wanted. And my dog has never had injuries to her pads.
You're in Tallahassee, Florida? I used to live out there for a while. Thanks for the info. I'll keep this in mind in case I ever decide to get a Husky. My plan was to get 4 dogs... all boys... and according to you, that could lead to some bad shit. Could it be worse if I got different breeds?
Yeah all boys, you could see some serious scraps. You can lessen the odds by switching up breeds. but it only works if you have a breed like a pug, chillen with a husky.
I fell into your channel yesterday and cannot stop watching! I have 2 females. My biggest question for you is: what type of vacuum do you have? I purchased my cordless one from Target for $300 about 2 months ago...needless to say, it is probably worth $10 bucks now after I used it to vacuum my carpets 3 times a day, every single day!
I saved a husky that was trapped in an apartment!!! 😱 how can someone be so moronic. Previous owner's place was chewed up - now, she is running, walking long walks, has a backyard to do her zoomies in and learning! This pup had zero training and was spoiled on snacks that cut her appetite- she's so skinny! Awesome channel.
Best kind of dog for depression. They make you get up and do things.

Took the door off and evntually removed the cage. Did the same with our young cocker spaniel when we got her. Neither dog has any issues being left on their own around the house nowadays. But ye, as pups they enjoyed being in their cage and it was better for them as well.
Wow, you're in Tallahassee! Same here! We just got a husky puppy and we appreciate your videos!
I just want to take the time to say thank you for all your husky advice/training videos. I have a three month old Siberian Husky puppy and I’ve learned so much!! If you could please do more videos on separation anxiety as my puppy cries for every time I step away (bathroom breaks etc)
Also, a video on a variety of toys appropriate for puppies.
I just got my first husky baby last week!! Your videos are soooo helpful!!
I live in Austria theres a lake a forest and a lot of snow should be ok for a husky 🐺😍
I live in England and DAYMMMM is it cold
We do live in forest cities after all
I got my first husky from my landlord.
Kieran Broome i was just given a Husky Malemute mix, female, she seems ok with my male Shihtzu but i worry her and the female Shihtzu ,,, my Tzues are both elderly,,,, i do not leave her alone with them unattended.
hi I have a 3 month old husky how do I train him to stop biting my other chihuahua 🥺
OOPS, TOO LATE. I have 3 male huskies 😂
How do they get along?

I have that same gate that's in the back ground. It's a life saver! I have a 4 month old Husky/Shepherd mix. Sometimes I just need a break from him.
I have left my Blonde Siberian Husky alone for a day, and she didn't destroy anything or make a mess
It makes me crazy to see them shaved,in my opinion its abuse
I don't work so i get to spend lots of time with them
Lol you're a trip my man. I love your videos and they are very helpful. I just brought home a Husky and named him Ghost. Your videos have helped me so much. Subbed 😊🐕
my Husky is about to be 12 years old, and its still play time all the time. The first thing after I do when get off work, is play time.
Richard Pace mine too he’s a red
You should report her
Say something about it.
Thank you for educating folks about these Huskies. They are sweet beautiful puppers. 💋💋💋💋
All dogs and different breeds should be respected for their different quirks! Primarily they should be loved!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
God Bless you and your babies!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much. :) God bless you! Hope to see you in future comments!
Sixty Formula You will!😊🐾

Britney Spears has a cute little mouse face with his little black whiskers standing out against his white snout. Hila looks like an Egyptian Queen with her exotic cat eye liner look on her icy blue eyes. Huskies are such gorgeous dogs. 🥰🐾
I find their time lapse photos from puppyhood to adulthood very interesting because their fur colors & patterns shift so much in between. It would be cool to see you do a video on that sometime.
“It breaks my little fart” 😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
:P Glad your'e having fun on the channel Renata!
I also live in Tallahassee and I get my Husky at the in of April. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time
This guy is cool 😎 beautiful huskies and great information! He is so smart ! ! Finally a dog owner who agrees with all of my training 🤗 🤗
😂😂😂the dragon ball scene made me laugh cuzz you are absolutely right😂❤🐾♥️
Sixty Formula words cannot express how much I love you and your pupperoni pizzas!!!!
Lol very true. Thank you so much for watching Luis! We appreciate ya!
I have never seen anyone sweep their yard, I'm not sure what to do with this information.
Him: I may just COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND PUNCH!! me in the face
Me: Is that a threat
" it breaks my little fart! " that has me laughing!!!!!!! Ah...OMG
Good to know I currently live in Utah and am making plans to move to Florida with my new baby husky
Ahh the Goku part had me in tears 😂😂
We takeout husky on daily walks around the neighborhood. We would do more during the week but we are just so busy with school and work, but when the weekend comes around we bring out the big guns! We run our dogs at least a mile every day to get all the pent up energy out and to not have them go stir crazy! They love it!!!!
You’re so enthusiastic!!lol I love it
This is true for my husky especially the dbz part. The worst thing they have done is rip up my couch -_- still love tho
I own a husky and I can attest to this
Thanks so much for watching man. Glad you enjoyed!
How long can you put a Siberian husky in a crate for?
Omg I watch your channel all the time I’m in Florida too. We just got our first husky!
I am in Florida too! I’m in the keys, I’d love to hear about how your Husky is out in the day time heat? My pup plain just doesn’t like to go out in it. Our house kept cold ( 67°)& I think he is just spoiled
Love the way you talk
I really really appreciate that thank you so much :) Thank you so much for watching and sharing!
I just got a husky & I've tried all kinds of treats so I can start training him but he won't eat any of them.🙁
Try turkey. It's safe for dogs to eat and usually all dogs will go for poultry like turkey. Get some from the deli, or but some from a grocery store!
If he won't take treats try playing/using toys as rewards instead! It's a lot more rewarding to the dog rather than a calm 'good boy' and a treat
Sometimes a toy or interaction works as a 'treat' for dogs that aren't food driven
Bro! You need a million subscribers, too many good notes!
Thanks for advocating for Husky’s!!!! Sup Brittney?
my husky Riley gets over that gate but neither over them can get over the 4 foot chain link fence. They're good boys. They're both fixed so they have no desire to wander. They're too busy stalking the squirrels up in the pecan tree!! They LOVE watching those squirrels boy!!
Lucky mine clears my 6 foot privacy fence.
I already have a male whippet and I’m planning on getting a male huskie, will the husky try and compete even with my older whippet??
I think a lot these tips apply to Meremma and Great Pyrenees. Their personalities are somewhat similar. These videos have really helped me.
I know I'm a year and a half late, but I just found your channel...it's awesome! What is the music you played over the backyard cleaning sesh?
"If you buy two huskies..."
No way!The only one is driving me crazy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha I feel your pain!
Lol, I feel you. I just have the original 4 huskies.
@@christophergarza210 Omg I don"t know if I"m sorry or happy for you 😂😂😂😂😂
Your home has pepperoni character: chew makes, broken furniture and torn up pillows, this is the best.
I am getting one soon just my main concern is I am working overnight. Can you leave your puppy alone overnight? Even when they are adult ? Thank you very much
This is my FAVORITE You Tube channel!
Awwww thank you so much!! That's so sweet of you to say, we mega appreciate it.
Also, when shaving a husky, or any dog with double coat,
It sometime messes the growth of the new hair, its called Post Clipping Alopecia, anyone with this kind of dog should look it up!
This! My husky mix has a bald spot that we think came from the shave to insert the micro chip. Thankfully his hair is long enough to cover it.
Hi there I have a 2 month old husky that does the exact same thing how did you get around this ?
Nothing i did worked for my husky. He just stopped peeing in the house all of a sudden. I kept him in a kennel while I would go to work and I think that is what caused his anxiety. But with yours, as young as it is, you really have to stay on top of taking it out all the time.
He’s 3 years old now and the most chill dog. I dont have him in the kennel anymore when I leave (thanks to quarantine). He pretty much sleeps all the time.
I have two female “mutts”. One is a big mama’s girl. I plan on adopting a husky puppy this week. Recommend I adopt a male husky??
I leave my. Husky alone uncaged all the time. N I get home n she's sleeping on the floor n the sane spot as when I left
My month and a half husky does the same. She is very chill
Same. Properly train them so they can fully enjoy their lives indoors and outdoors, then everything will be fine. As this people here commenting about how to create train and I'm like, why, just why? My huskies have never seen the inside of a crate and they even go inside of planes (sit next to me all 8) when we leave the country
My 8-month-old Husky is exactly the same.
Ours too. At 11 months she doesn’t even tear up her toys. But she does like to dig and remove chunks of grass.
Oof my husky NEVER does that
Love the singing dude
mum bought a husky, he's only 3 months old but majority of the house is too busy to play with him so he's asleep most of the time, I feel sorry for him after watching this, but how might this affect his well-being?
Thanks for finally a vid that tells ppl what they need !!!! Anout time someone did my sled dog thanks you too !!!
Thank you so much for watching and sharing!
Your huskies are so so cute and the best
Hehehe Hila and Britney Spears are a typical huskies paparoni pizza.. they chew wood, like mine, Didi😁👍
I love this guy lol ima get a husky soon !! Can’t waitttttt
I was just curious as to what track that is playing....starting @1:38 ? Sounds pretty dope.
Love your huskies too btw.
I used to be. Now I'm in Jacksonville FL.
Yeah all boys, you could see some serious scraps. You can lessen the odds by switching up breeds. but it only works if you have a breed like a pug, chillen with a husky.
So...
Siberian Husky
+ Alaskan Malamute
+ German Shepard
+ Japanese Akita
=/= Good Idea?
Mines A boy gets along with my friends chihuahua boy too but he has problems with other dogs especially boys
So awesome to hear that! Thank you so much for the support Javier. It really means so much to me and the pups.
Try shark vacuum
I saved a husky that was trapped in an apartment!!! 😱 how can someone be so moronic. Previous owner's place was chewed up - now, she is running, walking long walks, has a backyard to do her zoomies in and learning! This pup had zero training and was spoiled on snacks that cut her appetite- she's so skinny!
Awesome channel.
Music score in description could be a nice touch. Love your vids so far.
