Did not expect Houston right after Malaysia, what a pleasant surprise and great video. I’m in Ontario Canada but my brother has been in living in Houston for a number of years and it is home. I will forward these to him and my nephew.
So glad I found this channel few months ago, one of my favorites now. Been even watching older videos in rotation, thank you for the great content. Congrats on 50k and many more.
Dino! Those wheels are called Swangas! That goes into slab culture, and swangin which is swerving side to side slowly. The large poke out on the wheel is called the elbow. They’re manufactured originally by cragar and now Texas Wire Wheels. The two main styles are 83’s and 84’s (eighty fo’s) it’s the years made and they’re 30 spoke. The actual brand from Texas is called Super Pokes. They’re extremely expensive
As a long time fan of your work and Texan, I'm glad you got to experience the variety of our car scene! Got to show the world some h-tine slabs! Hope you enjoyed your time in our great state, didn't know you came out to Dallas at T1 or I would have tried to say hello! Next time you're in Texas, definitely want to hit up Circuit of the Americas in Austin! Thank you for covering the Texas car scene!
I'm so happy to see you on Texas streets! I live in Dallas area, hopefully next time you visit we can come out to see you! I have been watching your Asian stories for a while so this is so refreshing to see.
So this is the first video of yours that I've ever seen and I have to say that I have really enjoyed it.... I'm now subbed to your channel and I'm gonna be checking out the other videos that you have uploaded.... I really like the ones where you are showing us the Underground Car Culture of different places.... Keep up the great work and I'll be looking forward to seeing what you upload in the future...
Cool, I was at that night meet too for a minute, but left before or after the green motorcycle next to the nsx 23:57 cause that's where I parked my gr86. That area is called Chinatown. Lots of jdm meets there, seems like every weekend.
Wasn’t a huge show but at lease they had some “jdm” cars of note. I hope your drive was interesting with the bronco raptor. I love Texas for quick trips, great people. The Porsche was a naughty little end to a great looking trip.
This is awesome I just stumbled upon this video and its rad to see, I live here in Houston and am friends with a few of the cars you showed here including Berny himself. lol glad you got to see some of what we have to offer, our automotive scene is massive, whatever you're into you will find a group of others here in Houston that are also into it. I also personally know the founders of Anime Matsuri so I hope you had a good time there as well.
Congrats on 50k Dino!!! This channel deserves way more tbh the quality and content is unmatched imp,i put this channel as the same level as carprime, best motoring, hagerty and throttle house😁hope dino reaches those levels of subs and viewers soon, you really deserve it,btw Dino going international is the best thing to happen so far🥹 cant wait for future adventures and the gtr build updates😁
Thats my buddys blue r34. We went out to cars and coffee cypress that morning. Our mutual friend bernie let us know you were there. Wish I could have met you in person. Would have been awesome. But that was my white r33 gtst next to it. Good to see you showing some love to all aspects of Houston car culture we have it all. Off road, jdm, muscle, classic, low rider, and the swangas.
Pretty cool to see you were here in Texas and even closer to me at T1 in Dallas after all of these years looking at your stuff on SpeedHunters and more recently on Instagram and RUclips. Can't wait for you to upload that video and see what else you were up to while you were in Dallas.
This is what in Brazil we would call a "rolê aleatório" (random walk/drive out there). Of course it's not as random with the clear focus on cars, but to kick it off in an anime convention, move on to a small and quick gathering that suddenly grew up (with a Mégane brought over from Japan!), and a meet at the parking lot of a church, all in the same day? It looks weird but it's fun.
Just now realized I was at this same night meet recording my own video, but didn't see you. Wish I would have so I could say what's up, I am a big fan of your channel. Always good content!
From the thumbnail i was on the fence if i should watch the video or just wait for the next one. Houston has some strange trends i can do without lol. Im glad i hit play! What a wonderful video! I coulda gone another 30 minute lol. Thanks man and glad u liked tx :)
50k! Thank you so much to everyone that’s supported so far. Enjoy our first, but not our last video from the Houston trip!
Congratulations ⭐️
I hope you'll come back some time! Houston car culture is huge and diverse.
You should come to Georgia next time you’re in the states
Your USA tour should help hit the magic 100k.. then you'll be an "influencer" 🤭👍
Houston car culture is amazing! Great people there. I have to find my way back some time. Big congrats on 50K! on to 100K+!

so cool to see you cover the Houston scene. I grew up in North Houston and miss the sheer numbers of car guys in the area. Huge diversity!

Same I’m watching all of them in order
13:20 Reminded of the movie Ben-Hur.

Please do!
I unfollowed all the other popular jdm car guys. You’re on another level. You can teach them.
Same, he got me to unfollow Larry 😅

Was only a day trip up to T1, so never got to see Dallas. Next year!

17:30 That int./ext. combo SC has always been in my top three favorites from factory porsche.. 😮
Just now realized I was at this same night meet recording my own video, but didn't see you. Wish I would have so I could say what's up, I am a big fan of your channel. Always good content!
I’ll be back this year 👌🏻
@@dino_dc awesome! I'd love to know which meets you're hitting up when you do. Thanks!
Audi aRS6 is amazing understatement. Powerful AWD and I believe 4 WS too👌😱
H town! Cool that you came to texas to check out the scene
964 is stunning ❤
That Mégane is probably the rarest car in the Texas area if not the whole of the usa
Love them slabs
killing it dude, Really enjoying the content!
Thank you!!
The Subaru 4 door sedan is called a GM8. GC8 is 2 door (coupe).
That riviera! Oh man

Nice video and good footage of Houston. I saw you at Anime Matsuri and was like there is no way that is you since you are always in Japan. 😂

The Blue GR Corolla belongs to @antdo
No way i missed you at that show, hopefully i can see you next year :)
Those wheels on them slabs😂 whats with those protrusions?
What camera gear do you use Sir?
The color science is pretty damn good.
Sony A73 & iPhone 13 Pro Max
Biig. fan of the JZX100 and the Honda Euro Accord 👌

I haven't seen Volk SF Challenge wheels in years! 😮
From the thumbnail i was on the fence if i should watch the video or just wait for the next one. Houston has some strange trends i can do without lol. Im glad i hit play! What a wonderful video! I coulda gone another 30 minute lol. Thanks man and glad u liked tx :)
Haha another 30 min uh
Meets use to be on another level 5 years ago in Houston.
Most of us don’t care for the riff raff stuff.
The blue R34 isnt a GTR, its a GTT modded to look like a GTR. original color was also black on the car before the owner painted it bayside blue.
Why didn’t you go to the shop Houston? They build high hp GTRs
Please do let me know if you ever plan to come to NYC. I'd love to organize something for you with the local community!
Absolutely! It’s on the list for sure!
Porshe with the Sti cherry blossom red
C *exists
skipped the blue roadster cause it was on reps huh 😭
Yo I made the cut at 23:32 🤙🏼
🥰🥰
Did anybody notice effspot in the background?!
Cool , that was my LS400.
Nice!!
Imagine Kyusha on Swangas.
More slabs!
Next year!
Didn’t think I would see Slabs on here!
Me too lol
Wow, the Texas scene doesn't hold a candle to any of the Asian countries. Started strong with the GSR racer and that was it.
Hey every place is different, I suggest you check out the video on T1 Race Development
29:40 🍆👏
Dino I thought you were in exile in Asia 😂
😂
@@dino_dc ☝️👑
Dino you gotta buy you a grill
Texas was built around parking lots and highways.
You got the insane part right. Or more like on the spectrum
@dino_dc you need to experience TX2K24
I do! I heard it’s being moved?
@@dino_dc it will now be in Ennis, TX. closer to Dallas than Houston.
