Batty Has looked overmatched the last 2 years. He's got an opportunity coming up in september Previous year and then last year. He just looks overmatched at the plate. I don't care what he does in the miners. If he doesn't start producing on the major league level , you have to say bye bye.

- Nimmo will struggle to get to 20 HRs -- 30 is unachievable ..... - Diaz will NOT strikeout 50+% of batters -- MAYBE somewhere in the 44-46% range -- MAYBE ..... - NO CHANCE Christian Scott is the Mets ace at any point in 2024 -- he will not have the opportunity given how conservative the Mets are with their young guys ..... - Megill is awful, just awful -- inconsistent and unrekiable -- Mets have better choices to fill his role (i.e., Lucchesi is a sleeper to me and Petersen will be back at some point -- both are way better IMO)..... - Vientos hitting 30 HR is an absolute joke -- he'll be back in AAA by June 1 when he is hitting .203 with 8 HR -- Met DH woes will continue in 2024 if the Mets proceed with Vientos in the role (and DJ Stewart is not the guy either)

If Vientos has 8 homers by June 1, he won’t be going down. More likely he has 4 homers by June 1.
