I don't get why people are so needlessly cruel to animals, but I understand eating lamb even less. Has anyone ever properly thought about a lamb when eating one? Who, in their right mind, would want to kill a lamb? They are so freaking cuddly cute, so innocent and full of joy. People are mindless monsters.
Not just that but they are, definitionally, very young. The word ‘lamb’ literally means baby sheep. It is like eating piglet, puppy or kitten. Who in their right mind could consider that the lamb had a good life before being killed.

@@Cancellator5000 I have to admit that I was one of those people. I didn’t eat veal because I learned how it was derived. However it took me far too long to join the dots and realise that everything about animal agriculture stinks.

Christina I'm glad you had this talk with this ex-vegetarian... esp because I was an ex-vegetarian right before I was vegan! (pescatarian)! and now I'm a vegan and animal rights activist! There is hope for everybody!

I felt that she was less guided by intuition but more by whoever is speaking with her. I suspect that she is an empath. If her friends were vegan she would be vegan but her friends are clearly avowed meateaters so she is eating meat.
When she was a girl her empathy for the animals headed to the slaughterhouse was powerful but external influences in her adult life have overpowered that empathetic response….and her need to be a people pleaser trumps her empathy for the animals.
Hopefully she'll carry on eating meat to save more animals. More animals are killed to provide food for a vegetarian than killed to provide food for a carnivore. That is a fact. Carnivore is also the healthiest and best for the planet. These are facts.
It does seem that meat is addictive, right?
All these ex-vegans craving stories that we see frequently for years.
All the contradiction and cognitive dissonance meat eaters have to avoid stop eating meat.
This girl ate a little piece of lamb and then the next day had all these cravings. It is really weird.

Ja! In dit geval stonden we met z'n tweetjes daar spontaan. We The Free staat daar elke 2e zondag van de maand (daar organiseer ik voor). Anonymous for the Voiceless staat er 2x per maand en Animal Save ook 1x. En soms komt Konink Hondenvlees ook een keertje langs!

It seems the main reason she eats animals now is because of her friends. She has a World Animal Protection bag. So many mixed messages.
I didn't even notice the bag!
She is basically "the journey girl". I think you did a great job with her. She seemed to change her attitude towards the end. But, who knows what she feels the next day... (ugh...)

I like that you told her to go a doctor. 💪 It sounds like she was pressured into eating animals by her horrible friends. She is using every excuse in the book to make herself feel better.
