That was badass. The smoking pickup was perfect 😂😂🤘 Gene catches a lot of sh1t...but that has got to be one of the most grooving bass line and tones of all time.
@@GINKBB Ezrin produced the record and cowrote with Stanley but he most certainly did not play the bass or come up with the part. He MAY have had some ideas he hummed out...but, Gene has gone on record saying the rhythm and feel was taken from a Curtis Mayfield record. Boys are back in town by Thin Lizzy might be creeping around in there too.
@@PawpawJamz well there are conflicting stories about it for sure. Personally I think its more likely that Ezrin was the major musical arranger and writer of the "hooks"..feel free to disagree. In any case, probably KISS's finest musical composition.
@@GINKBB You are correct, and Ezrin's resume certainly speaks for itself...He is Beethoven to anyone in Kiss..but, Gene is hands down the musical force in that group. (IMO) I don't see it out of his realm. We can all agree without the Kulick brothers KISS is nothing they are today...so who knows?🤷♂️

I can forgive no clown burst, I mean cherry burst, I do have deduct a point for not making some lightning bolt inlays out of masking tape, though. And let's be honest, Poison's cover of "Rock And Roll All Nite" ("Less Than Zero" soundtrack) doesn't just drive you wild, it drives you crazy. CC DeVille's solo showed us everything he's got.

I'm almost convinced that the dude playing the guitar isn't real. It's more like a complex mechanism that connects the tablature to the guitar. Kind of like one of those self playing pianos. :-)

Bass line was written by Bob Erin, as well as the signature harmony guitar parts.
