It's true what you say. But for me, for example, what has helped me to break down mind control is to go over and over the same false teachings that the organization has put on the table. It is something of a long process in my case, and of course it is not the same for everyone.

What if God kept parts of the bible vague on purpose to see who veers off into the weeds and who sticks to what is truly important?

This is one of the biggest reasons why I stopped believing that a loving god ever existed. How could a loving god give mankind a divine book called the bible that has caused so much division, hatred, genocides? Rather than bringing people together it has done more harm than good. Why is there so many different Christian denominations that can't agree on what the scriptures mean? It seems to be more of a cruel joke.
