Hey Adam! Thanks for sharing the ‘new to me’ rigging. Also really enjoy the extended cut videos. You are pretty efficient and organized in the way you work, so I flash forwards needed for me!
What in the magician is a goin’ on around here! Inspirational, but my wife is displeased with my sudden increased purchases and my daughter has some glitter envy at the moment… I’ve been in the shop every day on my last days off!!!
That was very kewl !! a co-worker from diff department came by the maint cage to pick up another one oh my Blue Gill swimbaits.. so I was talking bout SDG .. so I pulled up the video ( acted like we were working on smthn and watched LoL he was blown away at the results , color shiftyness and what-nots ... # new follower on the way 😎👊
Amazing work! Question. When you are in the vacuum chamber, does it ever completely stop bubbling up? If so how long does it usually take? Do you let the pump continuously run or do you get it down to 30 and stop the pump. Ok….. that was several questions. 😂
LOL, one or many, they are all welcome! I generally stop the pump after the main "collapse". Granted, you won't always get a group of bubbles that gather together and rise, eventually collecting enough that they then burst and collapse, but that is common. Sometimes, when the bubbles aren't as bad they will burst as they rise to the top, so it really depends. Either way... all that should take place around 25, usually between 25-30 if they are collecting and rising. Once they collapse though, you will see the plastic continue to "boil"... and in fact, if you turn off the pump the vac will continue to pull... but, in my experience, you're not gaining any additional clarity by letting it go or taking it all the way to 30. Once the main vac/collapse is done you've removed the VAST majority of moisture and you're ready to roll. Hope this helps!
I think they would be awesome in a floating plastic I have never used a free rig but I would imagine that the bait gets drug down with the weight then would float away from the free rig
Thanks for joining the channel! I did do more tying in the past and try to include some vise time when I’m tying something that goes with a soft plastic, but a vise-only builds have taken a back seat for a whole host of reasons. Hopefully you can still enjoy the content, but I understand if it’s not exactly what you were looking for. Thx again for watching!

Great video, Adam ! Refresh my memory. Drops per cup for CUTTHROAT TROUT.
Thanks Guy! CTT is a MF pigment, those are usually thin, so I liked 30 drops per cup on that one.
Thanks, Adam.
Wow I love it.

Very sweet!

Thank you sir! That’s was ALOT of help.
That looks killer definitely gonna have to play with some of the solar sugar I have. Haven't touched it yet. The Borealis is my go to.
Both as killer, yes sir! I'm a sucker for gold, so if I can get it with a little iridescence, I'm all over it! LOL
Maybe a little Triton Siren scales rather than gold flake or with it hmm *raises eyebrows* LOL
Those would look sick in perfection blue flake by Berkley
Yes indeed! I'm seeing that pop up a lot these days, may have to try it soon!
Hmmm…..I wonder how that bottom color would look with a green pumpkin back 🤔
Pretty outstanding is my guess, LOL! Yes indeed!
I think they would be awesome in a floating plastic I have never used a free rig but I would imagine that the bait gets drug down with the weight then would float away from the free rig
Very possible, yup! A lot of dependents in there (size/weight/type of hook being the biggest) but if nothing else it would certainly slow the fall!
Adam, my friend, you have a hollowshift addiction. I can't help you because I have the same addiction. That color was sick, my man.
So true, but when it looks that good… I mean… what can a guy do?!
I, sometimes, add two rubber beads as stoppers to set minimum and maximum distance of the hook from the sinker: I call it Carol's nipples rig...
LOL! Too funny. I can see the benefit of the stoppers, especially if you wanted a slightly faster fall 👍
You haven’t tied anything anymore I started following because of the fly ties you did

@@SDGCustomLurecraft I like the plastics but miss this ties jajaja

@@DavidFerguson-e8j definitely possible!
Just say no to black flake! Just saying
Ah, I love the black! I bet it would look dope without as well!
