YES. I get that a lot of RUclipsrs who buy designer bags are wealthy and I'm sure Anna has a pretty good income, but it's nice to see her still acknowledge that it's a pricey purchase - especially for many viewers who likely don't have her kind of income.

I've been eyeing the Faye for a long time as well but it's just not practical to have a bag like that given the currency of Malaysia and on a middle class salary. So many youtubers do 'what's in my bag' videos or unboxings and then a few months later do another one, which just isn't realistic for most people! On the issue of not being able of throwing stuff into it: I had the same issue, and I bought a really cute printed canvas bag, which I fold and tuck into the side of my bag. It's really small when you fold it so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and when I go shopping or want to pick up some groceries, I just take the canvas bag and throw everything in there! Love it!
"Wanker" is such a fantastically descriptive but completely undervalued word these days. Thank you for reviving it and giving me a chuckle. (Very elegant bag btw)

I absolutely love to watch any video about handbags. This was one of the best I have seen. I have a fabric bag that I keep folded in my handbag. It unfolds to a large size, but just tucks away in a corner, and takes barely any room at all.
hi anna, a great suggestion for taking care of the leather and helping to remover the marks, is buffing some eucalyptus oil into the leather with a dry cloth. i use a glasses cleaning cloth on my bag which is a lighter grey colour and it helps with the marks and also discolouration. you'll only need a little bit. hope this helps :)

I agree with one of the previous viewers -- it is so refreshing that you acknowledged the cost as a real factor because even in my early forties I doubt that I will ever own a bag that cost much more than $100 US dollars because designer bags aren't a priority enough that I would save for a long amount of time for one, but that's just me.This was an awesome, very well thought out review -- well done as always!

Beautiful bag - it looks so much like a classic Coach bag that I own. The bag shape looks lovely, and like you, I like to throw my things inside without thinking about it too much, but the style isn't the most practical for that. I don't own a Chloe bag, but I always use saddle soap on my leather bags. A good saddle for a horse is typically made with a higher grade leather than that of a handbag so I always use the stuff I conditioner and clean my saddle with on my leather bags and I can see a huge difference! Maybe try it on a different bag first to see if it's a result you like, but it's a trick that completely changed my handbag care!

I love my Faye, but I bought the small one because of the reasons you gave it cons. The smaller one, while still so expensive, is easier to manage, pack into a suitcase as an "extra" bag on a trip and to use -- although I wish mine were all leather instead of partially suede. Great, in-depth video!
Congratulations! It's pretty for sure. I wanted to mention that there are See by Chloe bags as well that are less expensive, still made by the Chloe brand and have a similar look. I bought one recently and love it. I like that you mentioned the pros and cons as well as the insanity of spending so much on one item. Somehow it is still worth it (and already planning your next purchase!).

My momhas the one with the suede. I wouldn't say it's less durable, unless you really worry about every little spot on it. She wears it rain or sunshine and it's totally fine.

Really good review. I have three Modalu bags and love them. I always buy them in their sales so rarely pay over £100, and they are superb quality--they look as nice as this one. I keep mine in the dust bags between uses and they've worn really well.

Coz so many times on the internet people say Yes to that question when their experience says otherwise and when we can see that they cannot justify it.. people need to understand that it is Ok to put your money into something and not finding it worth.. that doesn't mean you don't love it!

I love my Faye, but I bought the small one because of the reasons you gave it cons. The smaller one, while still so expensive, is easier to manage, pack into a suitcase as an "extra" bag on a trip and to use -- although I wish mine were all leather instead of partially suede. Great, in-depth video!

Congratulations! It's pretty for sure. I wanted to mention that there are See by Chloe bags as well that are less expensive, still made by the Chloe brand and have a similar look. I bought one recently and love it. I like that you mentioned the pros and cons as well as the insanity of spending so much on one item. Somehow it is still worth it (and already planning your next purchase!).

I'm not into crazy expensive bags (I have an Oroton bag I think you'd LOVE) but gosh it was refreshing to watch this. I don't think anyone else actually says how much they paid for their fancy bags which makes it seem even wankier. I totally get the "content with purchase but not in love with it" vibe you put out. Another great video!

This was such a helpful, thorough review. I wish all youtubers would be more honest about expensive bags, and not talk about them like they're Zara bags. I treat myself to a designer bag every year, and it has to be worth it!

My momhas the one with the suede. I wouldn't say it's less durable, unless you really worry about every little spot on it. She wears it rain or sunshine and it's totally fine.

I have three Modalu bags and love them. I always buy them in their sales so rarely pay over £100, and they are superb quality--they look as nice as this one. I keep mine in the dust bags between uses and they've worn really well.
