Chip and jo do an amazing job at wht they do. Even if the kitchen could b on the wrong floor. Nothing has to b perfect. Both still can pull it together. Im blown away by the work they do. Chip and jo may God bless u and ur family.

Thank you Jo & Chip thank you Chipnjo 🤗 I just wanna watch more heavenly moments - a glimpse of God’s joy reverberating from the walls of the barndeminium into cyberspace and back to the next remodeled walls of Waco homes.
Chip and jo actually started making people sign contracts that they wouldn’t use their homes for profit after they remodeled them. They created the homes for these families not for them to turn a profit.
@@whatever5922 Yes they did. If you look up some of these places you'll see that most of them have been sold for very large sums, or they are being rented on ABB. There were quite a few people that didn't want them coming to their neighborhood because then prices would go up and so would the taxes.
@@annabodhi38 how does that work though? Doesn't one's property value depend on the extra things you've added to your property? How can that influence my neighbours property that is a dump? I'm curious about this because I came across Joanna and Chip in 2019 and when I searched for some of the houses they did in their earlier seasons,I did notice that the houses are up for sale/sold.

Watch you in Ireland and love what you do, you have a special connection with your buyers and I love how you get all your beautiful family involved in the decorating especially the children's bedrooms, love for Ireland ☘🇨🇮
I know the feeling, my husband and I have been looking for a home for us and our 3 children, but it's been tough. I get emotional every time I look at HGTV.
A lot of thise peoples sold those properties! Just for being part of the program is income right there!. The "gunshot" almost little house was for renting first, I think the sold it too!.... taking advantages!!🤷🏻♀️
I ALWAYS LOVED WATCHING CHIP & JOANS WORK AND CREATIONS. THERE AN AMAZING COUPLE WORKING TOGETHER. CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THERE NEXT CREATION. LOVE YOU GUYS.
Love ALL their RENOVATIONS and this One became a Post Production Issue where the Owners decided to turn this into a B & B. It was Heightened because Others were Not Living in the Renov as their Primary Residence
@@arianna.x.lopez.9685 Just curious where have you seen a kitchen in a 2 story house? Every house I've ever looked at over the yrs, and I've done 4 major moves to different States, it's on the 1st floor. Only exception I can thnk of is a Carriage House Garage structure or something that had an inlaw or bar/rec room on the second floor
It looks like they had budgetary restrictions. Sometimes certain layout changes just don’t fit in the budget. So the kitchen was already there, and they had the money to fix it up, but not move it.
Gabriel Gaudiario it actually is. If you open up the doors and your grilling outside for a family bbq then you can get the whole family to eat there rather than be bunched up upstairs
It would drive me nuts to haul groceries up those steps to the kitchen, and it would annoy me to have to take the kitchen trash out down those steps. What if the bag drips or breaks? Why didn't they just put the kitchen (with an outside door) on the first floor?
Every time they had to haul Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner up and down the stairs they cursed Chip and Jo’s names. I’ve loved every single reno they’d done except this one. Dining room and kitchen belong on the same floor.
dining room is in the same space as the kitchen. the only time they would ever use that monster of a table downstairs is for christmas. and at that point there are many and plenty of people who can take it down. this house is gorgeous
Is it possible that they have a little tiny kitchen downstairs somewhere hidden in one of the storage rooms? Like a microwave, little sink? ...just asking since I did not see the entire full version of the episode. Is the 1st floor maybe suppose to be dedicated for "business" clientele? The house is a stunner. I've never taken so many screen shots of an episode before.
There is a show on demand on the hgtv app called country style, You could totally see the evolution of farm style throught the years. The show has a relaxing zen like feel to it.
that looks so weird entering a house and having a 17ft dining table in your face, in a narrow room full of doors. and why is the kitchen on the second floor??? imagine hauling all your groceries up all that stairs every week... eh?
What are the dimensions on this Barn?? Something (By sight) just does not seem to add up (to be clear I love it..😃. butt...) Dr.Who's Tardis is like this Kind of😑. Are there plans for something like this ?? I have the same Looking barn and other than the Kitchen needing to be DOWN STARES! 🤔 I want!!!
Chip and Joanne you might want to keep an eye on your employee’s clothing... *2:13 The gentleman hanging the curtains, do you have any idea what his T-shirt says? “1243 Miles from my home, many years without seeing my family just sent me this fucking shirt.” I was under the impression that this was a family show. However what in Hades were y’all thinking putting a 17 foot long dining room table on the main floor when the kitchen was upstairs? A Dumbwaiter would have been helpful. 🤷🏻♀️
I believe that is true, all of the furniture and decor is extra dot-dot. They have to pay extra for it if they want to keep it otherwise it goes back into Joanna's garage ..
NOW THAT IS A BARN! LOL. I LUV THE DOORS AND BLACK CASING IN THEM AND WINDOWS! I SEE THIS OFTEN IN HOME DECOR VIDEOS LATELY-TOTALLY ROCKS!💎💎💎
"It's a pony." Love how the homeowner thinks.
Joanna does another amazing job. Hopefully they come back someday to create more shows.
Wow.. this is one for the record books.. so beautiful what they did with that barn.. awesome 👏

The owner lied to them...... They moved out and rented it out to airb&b

Now when those kids are messy and someone asks " were you raised in a barn?" They can acually say yes
lol
Now thats one barn I would not mind living in .... Very nice.
Wow! Chip and Jo always delivers. Love watching your transformational mastery. 🇿🇦
Watching her call that “plenty of space for books” shook me to my core
You could hear the husband cringe when she said that...😅
I thought the same thing. I love Jo, but she knows not what she speaks of there.
Im still living in my parent’s house. All the books in my room could not fit in this small space. Im only 21, so im not nearly done.
visu vi a reader is never done. 😉
That’s plenty of space for books by a desk. There’s tons of other places to put books in that house.
the couple is so warm
‘It’s a pony?’
‘Nah just the kids’😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Dining room is great for outside cookout and family reunions. They do what buyer wants!
Perfect place to raise a family and now it's an air bnb lol
HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS? JUST CURIOUS.🤷
@Christie Jensen That's terrible after the kid's got yo see it as there home it was just taken away
tons of the houses on this show end up on airbnb
Well the Gaines are not the only ones looking for to make a profit! Smart from them!!!

You are so good at this gig. Don’t stop
Now I want to live in a barn!! ❤️ Awesome job!

This was one of my favorite
I've always dreamed of a place like this
Mine too
Chip and Jo are the best
With the big dining room downstairs and the kitchen up, I’d love to see a dumbwaiter.
still on of my favorite builds.
What a truly magnificent home
I wonder why they sold this house, they even included the table. I seen it on the market like a year ago.
I feel their idea was not to live in it but to sell it. It’s now an amazing Airbnb

Awesome! So beautiful Chip and Jo! I'm a fan!
Какие молодцы. Как всё классно. Супер!
It's a beautiful renovation! Although I do find it odd that the kitchen and living space is 'upstairs', and bedrooms and a dining hall on main floor.
rezotydnic I find it weird that the rooms are upstairs while the kitchen and living room are downstairs in regular houses

Barndominium has already been coined. There is a whole RUclips channel
You do realize that they filmed this episode of Fixer Upper about 5 years ago? :)
The dining area downstairs is not practical because the kitchen is upstairs. But well , its just me.
Gabriel Gaudiario it actually is. If you open up the doors and your grilling outside for a family bbq then you can get the whole family to eat there rather than be bunched up upstairs
Gabriel Gaudiario I was hoping to see they installed a dumb waiter for moving food to the first floor!
Not a fan of the set up at all. Who the hell wants to carry hot platters of food down the steps. Ridiculous
Yea, but will only use it a few times a year for holidays or birthdays. Most of the time the family will use the table upstairs.
It would drive me nuts to haul groceries up those steps to the kitchen, and it would annoy me to have to take the kitchen trash out down those steps. What if the bag drips or breaks? Why didn't they just put the kitchen (with an outside door) on the first floor?

I thought of that myself, however a 16 foot table wouldn’t fit in the upstairs!
