    The term "blob" stands for "Binary Large Object" and is used for storing information in databases.
    is blob a data type that can store binary data?

    Nice and simple explaination. Can you also please post a video on how to migrate data from non-hierarchical to HNS enabled storage and dynamically create folders in ADLS Gen2 storage based on the required business logic

    • @AllAboutBI
      @AllAboutBI  3 года назад

      What kind of business logic you mean ? If u can brief, it will help.

      @@AllAboutBI Sure, currently my source is a Gen1 non-hierarchial blob storage and I want to move all the data (basically json files) it to Gen2 with HNS enabled (sink). So while migrating the data to Gen2 , I need to dynamically create folders in the sink for different types of json files available in source. Is this possible ?

    • @AllAboutBI
      @AllAboutBI  3 года назад +1

      Dynamically creating folders is simple. In the copy activity, under sink settings, we can write expressions to derive folder names which will be created on the fly.

      @@AllAboutBIAlright, I will try that. It would be much helpful if you could point to some videos/links here for reference, Thanks in advance. :)
