Thx for the hints... I somehow missed that there is no need for the CTRL+ALT or CMD+Opt combo... you can replace this with just a simple CTRL/CMD plus the action!
Finally someone collected all of these. The "Ableton" style zooming is underrated. You can also do it with just middle mouse + drag on the top scroll bar or area above playlist. It works on all scroll bars in FL, even graph editors, and even vertical graph scroll bars like in Harmor or FPC.
I basically see it this way: The ONLY key you need for zooming purposes is Ctrl. It literally IS the zoom key. • Simply Ctrl + Right-Click to show all content, then Ctrl + Scroll to zoom in wherever you like. Need vertical zoom? Ctrl + Middle-Click&Drag. Easy! • Side scrolling is also important, so Middle-Click&Drag is your best friend. Great video btw! Very comprehensive. See you in the forums! 😉
There is one thing I wished would be improved, vertical zooming in the event editor, or vertical zooming in the event editor inside the piano roll. Unless I am wrong, there is no way to do it using any hotkeys you would expect to work, you have click with the mouse on the tiny zoom button above the vertical scroll bar, or use middle mouse in the area under where you select note properties. Then there is a weird thing in newest FL version (24.1.1) where if you click "edit events" on a wrapper pitch knob the event editor opens up zoomed at the very bottom value (-4800 cents). If anyone have any tips related to this I would be thankful. Nice video btw, I like how you always upload well researched videos.

Thank you for the comprehensive overview! The Ctrl+Left-Click-and-drag on the scroll bar is an interesting one I didn't knew before. Nice one!
This guys awesome
Nicely done! I enjoyed it. One tip - no need for ctrl+alt+right click. Just ctrl+right click [drag] for zooming.
Yes, thx, I somehow missed that and went directly over to CTRL+ALT... 🙂
👍
