Wonderful Concert Daniel. I wish I could shake your hand, but the best way I can do that is by commenting on such great songs and talent. Shake My hand by giving me a thumbs up. Thanks. Terry
Bravo!!! 👏☺️ A great recital program. Excellent playing and registration. I loved how you “transitioned” between the organs! I am particularly impressed at how well you play from memory, and improvise!!! Truly well done!!! Looking forward to more!!!
Thank you very much! Yea, I'm glad I didn't have to book a flatrate for an airplane ;) I actually prefer to play from memory, I can just listen more to the music that way :D All the best!
Impressive home set up and concert. The charming little prelude and fugue in C BWV 553 (the whole set of 8 has since been considered not to be by Bach) is the first organ piece I learned at school.
Hi Daniel! Thanks for the great concert!!! You recorded BMV 553 on the Rieger Organ of the Parish Church of Spittal 10 years ago also; that recording is also on my playlist and I continue to enjoy it. Vielen Dank, Daniel!!! 😃
Bravo, Daniel Oberzaucher! Your playing of the two Bach pieces ('Ich ruf zu dir' and "Erbarme dich'--perhaps my favorite) was especially moving, and especially appropriate for the moment. But everything you play here is absolutely lovely. Thank you.
Thank you very much! Indeed it wasn't planed back then that my first Bach piece would be suited for that actual situation. Quiet sad what's happening at the moment... But thanks for the compliment! :)
Bravo, you play very well music US poétique and you have a good technique bravo i am very happy Yoplait en Saint-Étienne DE quand Cavaillé-Coll is wonderful go on you are we started, friendly philippe dubois de Caen en France Normandie
Wonderful, génial incredible bravo Daniel Philippe Dubois de Caen élève de Michel Chapuis et de Pierre Cochereau i play offen in saint-étienne fabulous... bravo Daniel you have a great talent,
A delight to watch and listen to - excellent playing, sound, and video work. Thank you so much for posting for us classical music and organ fans to hear. How did you record the sound? It was very good throughout; very impressive speakers BTW.
Thank you! I recorded the audio with the internal recorder of the software Hauptwerk. That way I don't have to use the audio from the camera. The speakers are really great, especially if you consider the price :) All the best, Daniel
I am learning the organ layout (registration stops and divisions) and in BWV 553 at 15:30 I sense a change, the Reeds seem to transition to Flutes, but I see no physical movement to effect that. And at 16:40 the Reeds seem to come back. Is that true or it is the note combination itself, no change in registration? thanks (wonderful performance, inspiring!)
Thank you! I indeed changed the registration with the so called Setzer or Stepper. It is a button right under the keyboards which I press to bring me to my next combination of stops I presaved. You can see how the light next to my left hand "jumps". So you certainly heard correctly ;) Happy new year! Daniel
Hello, is the sound from your organ system recorded directly in the software or through a microphone placed in the room? Btw... Very impressive organ system and your skills too!
Hi! The sound is recorded directly by the software with its internal recorder. I only added a tiny bit of reverb as an afteredit to the video, which makes the sound even more realistic. Thanks for the compliment, I'm very happy with my setup and thankfull for it every day I play with it. :D
Wonderful Concert Daniel. I wish I could shake your hand, but the best way I can do that is by commenting on such great songs and talent. Shake My hand by giving me a thumbs up. Thanks. Terry
You are welcome! Glad you liked the concert :)
Best, Daniel

Daniel, are you the same Daniel that played in the video on Xaver Varnus’ channel improvising on Adeste Fideles?
I guess so? ;)
