Nicely demonstrated as always mate! I believe that gorse has something like 3 times more vitamin c pound for pound than oranges! I’ve made a wine from gorse before it turned out ok but was still quite bitter!! (As are the raw flowers) great video brother! Like the little stove set up too ! Best wishes 👍🏽👍🏽😎

Gorse Wine - Nice! Yeah, one day people will realise that it'll all come back to the plants. We rely nowadays way too much on Pharma and 'pre-packaged'' foods.
      Thanks man. 👍

Yep agree! It’s important that we don’t forget our roots (no pun intended) and still have an appreciation of where foods/medicines came from! And as you said it’s definitely worth knowing for survival situations or if we ever experience a collapse scenario. Best wishes brother 👍🏽👍🏽

On a similar theme, a video showing British edible plants etc would be rather good. Also trapping to catch animals for food etc.

Huh. I've never heard of this plant! Nice bird's nest. OOOO flea repellant- -handy. That's a very useful plant with all those uses. Nasty dark side for sure though. Wow.

I've been aware and seen this plant around for years, even lived amongst it for days on end. At that time it was just a nuisance plant. I didn't realise it's importance and uses. It took me a load of time to research all the facts in this video, from historical records and accounts to modern day botanical manuals and foraging books.
Definately one to be aware of.

It's aTrangia meths cooker, I added a home made wind shield with hole in it to enhance the flame, woks pretty well. They are good bits of kit. Very robust and tough....
