There are Stanley razor blades that are .010 -.015 thicker than regular work my ex father and inlaw bought some at ace in Oklahoma and they wouldn't work in are knifes my Milwaukee or Stanley folder and his Klein . But work just fine in older slider style box knifes . Stanley heavy duty ones is what they are called.
I noticed Milwaukee Fastback 6-in-1 is no longer available on Amazon, and in several other places I looked. Not sure if this just means they are so popular are completely sold out. Or if it means production has been stopped while they create an upgraded version.
That's unfortunate Stanley blades are difficult to store. That project farm channel that tests a lot of things, rated Stanley as probably the best bang for your buck for all around purposes.
Agreed, but I get it… they want you to buy Milwaukee blades. And while the Stanley blades work just fine in the knife part, don’t make the mistake of sliding one down into the storage compartment lol.
@@papajoeknows8355 Mine just lost its detent ball holder. Mine is(was) held in place with a colar, and others have a spring on the inside. Someone on another thread suggested putting a 6mm x 2mm magnet in there. I think the magentizer might be better/easier. Also useful for other tools. Thanks.
the only drawback I had with this knife was sometime I accidentally dropped it on the floor after then I couldn’t get the screw driver out form that compartment it was stuck there 😂 that was so annoying

I work for my Dad as a carpenter and picked 2. One for myself and 1 for fathers day. Been eyeing these for over a year.
Perfect Father’s Day gift. You’re both going to love them! 👍🏻
@Papa Joe knows yeah, really excited to give it to him. I've been playing around with mine and really like it! Even if it technically illegal here 😆
@@Vincent_Preston eh, too many laws in this world… hard to keep track lol.

I'm a fan of this tool. I just wish that it used Klein double-sided bits. or maybe some other commonly available bits.
Agreed.

Great review!!
Hi Joe and cool tool too. I wonder if they are made in milwaukee, where jobs are sorely needed....?
As well made and durable as it is, it’s got that made in America “feel” to it, but I don’t know for certain.
@@papajoeknows8355 I know what you are saying, and man, I miss that ole label that used to say....Made In USA, as it made ya feel good, you know!
The fact it does NOT say “Made in USA” probably gives you your answer. Why would an American company not highlight that fact?
If it was made in the USA it would be 2-3 times the price.
Is the driver magnetic now?
No, but they have a handy little magnetizer tool for that…
