When he said “Icelandic sound” Homogenic immediately popped into my head, Joga is one of the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard, and this library certainly gives me those vibes, well done!!!
Oh my... Oliver, quite a tender emotional creation... Eagerly anticipate an all nighter of tears and joyous rapture! Great job! This will be my first Olafur
Love this Oliver well done, great video. really like the use of 2 different tremolo settings, it's also great that a lot of the time you use standard Logic Pro X plugins, thank you. Take care, stay safe
@@zaharishtonov indeed, basing the assumption on C. Henson saying "exciting things to come in the new year". Loose quote, but the way he conveyed seemed to suggest more than just new libraries on the way.
I recently bought Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions, and I really love the "sound" from this library. However - I was wondering if there was a way, or anybody has worked out how to "modify" the library, so that it could be used as a standard strings library, without the evolutions? I have been searching for a long time for the best solo strings library, and am left mainly disappointed .... but the "sound" of the OA Chamber Evolutions is exactly what I am looking for, and I would love to use this as a standard strings library .... Anyone got any thoughts on this?! 🙂
@@mmhcreates the evos are not an effect. they're recorded like that. the only way to get it to be more normal would be to go in and record new samples.
I’m sold on the regular evolutions pack but not quite this one. Can anyone attest to this being worth it? Seems evolutions fulfills most everything in the string department
Hi Oliver, that sounds awe-isnpiring. The sound ambient/tails are raw from the library or are you using any additional reverb. If yes, would it be kind to share with all of us which one and the settings you used... Keep up the good work !
Hi PereRevert, on this one I am using the reverb of the library, so no additional stuff. I usually use either the TC6000 or the Lex224 as my kind of overall 'glue-together' reverb. The large warm hall settings are good (I believe on the Lex it´s called Large Hall B). Hope this helps and thank you for the nice comment! O.
@@Jeffery99 I bought Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evo's first and then Tundra a few months later. They're both brilliant, but I tend to use OACE more often, so I guess I made the right decision! :)
Hello Oliver! Is there a way to play, let's say 8th notes, at an average tempo? I already tried a lot including playing with the attack time but still the sound takes really long to reach a certain level of volume so I can't really play faster notes.

That's such a gorgeous piece, Oliver, awesome work as always. My copy is on the way through the metaverse!

check olafur arnalds' work.
Is there a video where you talk about how you set up your template?
Hello, Oliver. What name of wonderful track does play in this video ?
Masterpiece
Forgive me I'm a pro tools user and not familiar with logic, but are you creating all these tracks in mono?

Chambers is bigger, evolutions is smaller and more intimate (potentially)
