I do agree with your thoughts on the waifu commanders and ships. I have been playing the PC game and they have a ton of ships with at least some historical basis or at least look like naval vessels. I like an occasional non reality related skin but we have a lot of room for "real" ships before having to offer completely made skin ships. The same can be said for commanders.

The second quintuple torpedo was removed and two triple launchers in a wing configuration were added. These launched the smaller Mk 44 and Mk 46 12.8in diameter anti-submarine torpedoes. Formerly USS Charrette (DD-581) and served exclusively in the Pacific Theater before being sold in 1959. Remained in service with Greece until 1991 and is now a museum ship in Athens.

Out of curiosity, when did we last get a battleship campaign? Was it Hizen? Karl Johan is a BC and an okay one at that, but i feel like its been so long since weve had an honest to god BB as a campaign reward :/

I think what they could do to make Velos more appealing is make the shell arks flatter and keep the base range of 12km so that its worth playing at all over Sumner or Fletcher

The junta fell a year later in 1974 The actions of the captain and crew to go against the junta while in fear of retaliation by the regime against their families is still remembered in Greece

I played a game with you yesterday! You were in the Kitakaze and got focused by the red carrier right off the bat and had to switch to defensive playing. I was in the republique next to you, i got lots of planes shot down & top score, but our team got clapped lol.
@@whereruaaron yeah.. sometimes that's all you can do. I spent half that match with nothing to shoot at with my big guns.. and I'm sure you felt the same having to switch to defending the point on two brothers and having nothing to shoot/torpedo for half the game..
As far as AA is concerned, it might be better in our game than PC…replacing the Bofors with the twin 3in (reference ships like Worcester, Des Moines, etc for stats) should up the range to …5km? The damage output of the twin 3in is pretty high, compared to a 40mm Bofors , too, so…we’ll have to see. The twin 3in mount and the extra ammunition weight usually meant a one for one swap on bigger ships. The Fletchers, as great as they were, didn’t have as much reserve buoyancy as you’d think, once you add in radars, sonar, etc. So maybe Velos only has one or two of these twin 3in…
I could a gun or torpedo build she seems prime for middle of the road situation like chung mu being a Fletcher with better than stock torpedoes, personally i build chung mu for torps because of how nasty deepwater torps can be

I think this ship is a troll, its not the Campaign ship this is like the Vallejo, and Haida all thought to be the next big campaign ship, but they were event ships. This is an event ship, and the teaser shows us, why. First the ships other camo is to make it look like a Triremes, the storms and lighting around it as we see images of Greek Gods like Zeus, Poseidon, and so on. The port I do not recognize it, so a new port, plus lets face it DDs do not brong put the buyers plus just a Fletcher-class with a gimmick or two. All this says to me event ship like the Vallejo, and Haida before it, this is a Greek Event with watch weird named money to Greek God guiseses, and this ship, now I have no clue way this event but it is an event. Now add in 2 new ships and camo 5 commander from Blue Archive and Campaign ship, That is three ways to make money coming up, and look at things since the Rome event, they have done at least 3 things a month, or more.
Ok. If this ship comes with a new free to play commander (like Karel Doorman for 7 Provinces), be aware that Wargaming will not add said commander to the store for commander XP anytime soon. I sent a ticket because I wanted to buy duplicate commendations of Karel Doorman with Commander XP and realized he wasn't there, and WeeGee's response was "we cannot say when, & please browse our store for new items, they update the store etc etc. ) So it seems like a lot of new free to play commanders will require personal commendations to upgrade instead of being able to buy duplicates with commander XP for the foreseeable future.
Aaron, WG is not providing the new players the tools to do well or challenge older players like us. All ships should be avail for all players and not just allowing new players the last 10 camp ships? U used to buy out the camp but only just level them up and like the latest have not even played it.
I’m so over playing against the Colombo. I hate that ship. Can’t damage it, no matter the angle, even broadside.. Can’t angle against it and infinite damage when it shoots you. Nothing but full pens. Hit me for 20k and 30k angled in a Yamato back to back. Such bullshit. How tf do you counter that ship? I’m not a great player but gosh damn that ship.
