    hello, i wanted to ask you about my fighting style
    i am 5:11 60kg and i like spinning technics
    when i see great old school fighters like Aaron cook they are my height but, very heavy
    should i change my style? i just can't help myself to throw fancy things in the competitions and i run out of cardio very fast
    i also have no sparring partner or pad holder to work on these techniques

      If there’s stuff that you “just can’t help yourself” to do, it’ll be easy to trap and bait you brother.

    • @KrisTheCoach
      @KrisTheCoach  6 месяцев назад

      Also spin kicks cost lots of energy, unless you train them like your roundhouse or cut kick, you’ll always get tired

    Hey coach Kris, I'm right handed right footed. But want to cut with my left leg (non dominant leg)
    Do you think I should? Or stick to my dominant leg

    • @KrisTheCoach
      @KrisTheCoach  2 года назад

      I'd say think about the stance you want to fight in, right leg back or front is fine, just practice.
      I had a cut kick both sides just to be safe.

    Hello Coach Kris, I'm currently taking TKD classes for a while...I wanted to UP my sparring Techniques especially how to engage properly...Do you have any tips or routine for that? (Much Love from the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️)

      Hey Dwighty! Thanks for watching! What do you mean engage properly? Like footwork? Attacking?

      Open with front leg poke, like cut kicks, axe, flips, etc. and apply pressure that way then find your opportunity based on the information you gather.
