South East Level Crossings & Trains Channel Yeah, hearing them up close makes them really loud. You certainly wouldn’t miss these trains approaching any crossing lol. Thanks 😁
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel I can't stand them! I could just about see it gave you a bit of a jump when the second train sounded the horn that third time 😉. Yeah, when I went to Melton Station that time, the train blasted the horn and it was like having a rock thrown at my chest 🥴😂
Interesting that the crossing has a fake horn system (which I can’t see the point in when trains are required to sound their horn) I came across a crossing yesterday that appeared to have a fake horn system, and for whatever reason, there was a sign at the crossing saying that ALL users of the crossing (including pedestrians) must phone before crossing (it’s a user worked crossing with vehicle gates, as well as pedestrian gates) Trains still sounded their horns on approach to that crossing
The Covtech designed fake horns are just a cheap solution to reduce the risk at some foot crossings and add a bit of an extra warning. That's interesting that all users must phone the signaller. It must be quite a less used crossing if that's the case.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel the crossing goes to a couple of houses, and there is apparently also a public footpath that goes over that crossing (but based on where it appears to go, I’m guessing most people use the road to bypass that crossing) I can’t decide if I want to try filming at that crossing
That 2nd train sounded it's horn 3 times and the sound makes me want to cry 😂 Great video
Thanks 😁 Yeah the horns do sound quite unusual, and loud!
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel yayy 2 weeks later
Great video, looks like a peaceful location here 👍
Thanks 😊 It is in the middle of nowhere. Had to walk around one mile to get to it.
Wow those horns sound strange and are funny as to listen to 😂. Makes the fake train horn unit sound nice tbh. Awesome vid! 😁

Thank you 😊 It had actually been raining hard a few days before so the grass was very wet, but at least it wasn't raining.

Thanks mate 😁 Yeah it was, they wandered over after I filmed the last train in this video when I went the other side 😂
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel 😂😂😂, ohh dear, already there was no Bulls in there haha
I believe these are the 745s with no first class and go to Stansted.
The 745s are ridiculously long, even without first class.
Yeah, these are the 12-car 745s. One of my favourite trains, especially when they’re travelling at speed.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel However, they’re so ridiculously long.
@@DaveDVideoMaker nothing wrong with that? it fits at platform’s? so what’s the problem?
@@poshlad6275 They’re ridiculously long and that’s an end of it.
