I am completely captivated. I found myself wondering how the story would end, and furthermore what the characters would do once the choice was made. On top of that, I am out of breath from the very motions used to express it. Highly impressed Kate, and Beyond Words dancers.
It's incredible how four people, (the dancers and Kate,) can take a simple three-minute song and tell an extremely complicated story that wrenches at your heart.
What I think is so amazing about Ellery is that she feels it. She feels the song, she feels the dance. She dances with emotion. When I look back at the older videos of her, I didn't find that. Ellery has grown. A lot. She has probably worked hard for it. That's maybe the reason why the girl gets a lot of solos.
Even though I'm sad that Tadas is gone this year I'm kind of glad that we'll get to see Ellery shine more on her own, especially in group dances, and not just as a top for Tadas. If you watch a lot of the groups like "Falling," it's easy to see that Ellery is a fantastic dancer in her own right and I can't wait to see her shine as more than just a duet partner.
Phenomenal dancers and choreography!!! Although I'd absolutely love to see these same dancers perform this in a few years time when they are a little bit older and have a little bit more emotional maturity behind them..
ive seen a video of this on stage and it is the most beautiful thing i have eer seen. The dancers are incredible and so is the chorey, the message is so easy to see and they carry it out so well. I absolutely adore kate
You capture EXACTLY what dance is supposed to be within your choreography; an art form, an expression of heart, of soul. I really feel the emotion in every single movement in the choreography, and it's beautiful.
Thank you for telling a love story through contemporary dance without using commercial or predictable movement.You continue to out do yourself and I couldn't be more happy with your work. You are incredibly innovative and clever, you inspire millions of dancers such as myself, to step out of our comfort zone. Every time i watch a dance i notice something different, an intricacy in the choreo, that supports the story line and compliments the music. They need your choreo on sytycd. Role model.
I've probably watched this a hundred times in the past week.. You can truly see the expressions not just through their face, but through their motion. This piece is absolutely phenomenal. I'm in love with it, because everyone that watches it can relate, and the art of it is just stunning.
