- Today we take a look at Google's midrange phone for 2022. I've always been interested in Pixel phones and I'm glad I've finally gotten my hands on one. The Pixel 6a offers a flagship chipset that is also found on the more expensive variants of the lineup. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

People obsess too much about the 60 hertz display. I've used the 6a and it has smooth performance and great battery life. I enjoy it way more than the more expensive iPhone 13 mini I had or the s22 I immediately sent back after like a week and a half. Google made a quality mid range phone that is truly a flagship killer. Especially if you get one on the Black Friday sale and have a trade in. You'd get it for almost nothing. I would rather have a 60 hertz display and flagship performance than a 120 hertz display with laggy performance like the a53.
I moved from the A52 to the Pixel 6A
The difference on the display is noticeable just after the move. Colours are less vibrant and scrolling is more choppy.
It's more choppy then other 60Hz screens.
On the other hand, the speed of the UI and apps is way better then the slow Samsung.
Happy with the move. You always compromise at this price point.
@@vpnconsult from what I’ve heard, the performance on the A52 is choppy and laggy. The 6a may not have as vibrant of a display, but in my experience the 6a had smooth performance and scrolling. If you are just getting the 6a, after a day or two that choppy lag during scrolling goes away. Usually on day one it’s working the processor hard and it’s still learning your usage.
Hi. Do you encounter the issues of heat and lost of coverage signal? If you do, how often? I'm interested in buying one, but these two really are my worries
@@TheNazreensyah in my experience I did encounter the phone warming up but it never got hot. The regular 6 was much worse getting hot to the point I couldn’t use it sometimes. I never lost signal or had any trouble with connectivity. Overall it’s a great phone and I’d highly recommend it.
You're right. High refresh screens are objectively better, but that doesn't mean that 60hz screens are terrible.
Good review. I picked up a Pixel 6a for a dedicated work line. My personal is a A71 5G. After a few months I vastly prefer the 6a and its mainly due to 1) Form factor (feels excellent in hand) 2) How Google handles Android with the Tensor chip 3) The cameras and Google's processing. Excellent images!!! Don't for one moment think the 12 MP cameras perform any less than larger MP versions. Google spent untold amounts of money to develop its processing capabilities with this 12 MP lens. 4) Google has been working to refine the hardware \software experience. Initially I did have a couple heat issues but those have lessened since 13 and monthly updates. I have owned Samsung devices since the S7 (one of my favorite Samsung devices) and this 6a, in ways, reminds me of it with the form factor. I am, personally, done with larger display mobile phones. I liked my S9 form factor over my A71 5G as well.
Just reached 7k subscribers!!!Congrattsss!!!❤️❤️❤️
I really like this style review. Good job!!
I like the flip. Closing it shut is so satisfying
Best part about the pixel is when you have your sim in it. You missed out on a lot of features that the pixel has for the everyday person. Call screen, now playing, hold for me, wait times, voice dictation speed and the sweet sound recorder app. Just to have a few
I got mine from Consumer Cellular they had it on sale for a limited time for $249 I love this phone!

Completely agree the 60 hertz, so called matter,is a NON issue. All Apple devices (non Pro versions) utilize 60 Hz and are considerably more money. This device for 299 is a steal!!!! (And its much cheaper with the great trade in values Google offers) Trading in my A71 5G and the 6a will cost me 49 dollars.
for vlog purpose which to buy, pixel or iphone SE?
I'm honestly thinking of getting the 7 instead but I'm not sure! I currently have the 4a and I'm looking to upgrade but it seems like the 7 resolves a lot of issues with the 6 series
Yeah, I would go with the pixel 7
I was going to go for the Samsung but I always go for Samsung so I wanted to go for something different, i think the oled screen is beautiful and the tensor chip make's all the difference.
Display is not super when compared to pixel 3aXL
❤️
Hey, does the phone heat up? I'm on the verge of buying it but can't decide between it an the a53
pixel, please.
Can't read anything scrolling at 120hz
First
i dont agree that the 53 wins the camera, the 6a as far as the pic go , has on par quality with the best phones of today, the videos are good too but not as good as the pic , but from what ive seen , its better then a53
I have pixel 6a and s22u and s22 takes way better pictures ,the limitations of the sensor are clear on the pixel especially in lowlight so the a53 also has a good chance of taking better pics depending on the scene.
Beautiful phone with beautiful girls
Pixel 6a Vs Samsung A52s 5g, which one is better?
Samsung A52s is a very well balanced phone
@@imsbash yeah I know, I am typing from the A52s. It's a nice phone.
Switched from the normal A52 to the Pixel 6a. The screen is significantly better for the Samsung. The 6a is faster and has a better camera.
Pixel
@@vpnconsult I switched from my 3a, it did a good job and lasted around 3.5 years.
I can see my Samsung A30 is aging. :(
I have yet to see a video made by someone that actually paid for the phone and not received it for free in exchange for shilling
Paid for mine 😅
No sense to buy it. Buy the 5 instead with 90Hz and wireless charge.
@OhFattKitty In every aspects way more better the 5. Except the long term support.
good video but all those comparisons to me feel a little .. uhg.. to me. Why is everyone comparing the 6a to the a53. The a52s is straight up a BETTER phone in every aspect... and its even cheaper. the a53 is a complete scam in comparison. i pretend that the a53 does not even exist, the a52s does.
