Woow, listening back to this interview made everything clearer in Shane's book. I found that there was so much resentment towards Shane for being used as the main lead vocalist from the other 3 guys. And it makes me sad that Shane had to apologise for his talent. Because obviously his voice was chosen by the producers including the U.S. producers who produced tgeir Country songs; because he had the kind of versatile voice that was able to express the feeling of songwriters. It obviously was not favoritism nor biasness. I understand now why, in 2019 , although being the one who came back with a bigger Solo career than the others, was the one who was reserved, and he let the other 3 be in charge. He was keeping the peace. And, he could feel their resentment.

According to Nicky Byrne.. They visited the US back in 1999 to promote their debut album & they have 5 Singles went to #1 that time... NOBODY knew them, they were IGNORED over there.. Sad 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️☹️
