Episode 6: Decimal numbers (last episode)
There are three parts in this episode.
Part 1 contains examples of terminating decimal numbers (terminating decimals). Each terminating decimal may be written as a fraction or as a percentage and is, therefore, a family of rational numbers (Q).
Part 2 gives examples of recurring decimals. Each recurring decimal number may also be written as a fraction or as a percentage and is, therefore, a family of rational numbers (Q).
Part 3 gives examples of nonrecurring decimal numbers. However, the nonrecurring decimal cannot be written as a fraction and is, therefore, a family of irrational numbers (Q’).
REMEMBER that it is very easy to sit and listen but this is not enough to master the subject.
MATHEMATICS can only be mastered by DOING!
    PRACTICE makes perfect.
