I used multiple wire crimps at the end post loops and a single Gripple Plus at the center of each wire run. This might save a few pennies but the crimping tool costs $$ and is harder to use than the Gripple tool. I only did it because the crimping tool was required for the electrical connections and I thought one Gripple per wire would look cleaner. In reality the Gripples are very hard to see from any distance. I couldn't find the plastic keeps (3:15) for the cut ends so I used an extra wire crimp. Just slide a free crimp over the loose wire ends. Love the clean look of the Gripple over cranks and the speed of install. Great product.
Beautiful! Did you notice the post moving upwards and closer to the other end at 2:51!? Perhaps installer needs a video to show him how to set a post....
That's not a Strainer post...that's a match stick! How long before it starts to twist, and, lean to the left or right? Another pound,or,two and it might just lift out of the ground. the 8 line ring lock alone under tension To spend a lot on gripples, gripple strainer, the 8 line ring lock or it's equivalent, and, skimp on an end post is false economy.
Forget the end clips....useless,apart from aesthetics. Better off to bend the tails 90 degrees to the wire ,and, cut them leaving about an inch. Tried, and, tested.
Ver useful video that clearly shows the steps and techniques to be used

12.5 high tensile wire????....12.5??? Looks more like 2.5. What happened to the black insulating tube???
Very skilled very tide job🔨👷👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just wondering if anyone can tell me where to get and the name of the grey plastic clip to terminate the wire?
Funny if you watch the H brace it starts pulling out of the ground!! LOL
wire size??
Hi Leandro, The smooth wire was 12.5 gauge high tensile with medium Gripple joiners. All the best.
