“They are trying to create in normal people the trauma that used to only come from a bad home” 🎯🎯🎯 Excellent episode! You both speak so directly and clearly. Thank you!
Also, I recently read Lisa Carlson’s and Josh’s book, “Final Rights: Reclaiming the American Way of Death,” and was slightly shocked to see his final statement in the introduction thanking his lovely mother. The gaslighting his mother and stepfather did to him really worked. Glad to see him “awakened” and loud about it. After learning his mother wrote to his previous employer about his social media channels and show, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of his attackers on Twitter are his mother continuing to try to break him down (unsuccessfully). Stay strong and keep fighting, Josh! ❤
@@sagedoesthings98 Thanks for reading my book; I hope you found it helpful. Yes, I dedicated it to my mother, which I look back on ruefully. When I told her about the dedication and told her Library Journal had given it a starred review, I gave her a copy. I was so proud. She never read it.
I'm glad the algorithms are in my favor again. I haven't seen any vids in a long time. Josh is amazing and I adore him and everything he does and stands for. 🥰
Josh you are correct in trusting your intuition in much the same way a cat jumps when you place a cucumber behind them when they aren't looking. The danger the cat is responing to it snake on ground. It's far better to be wrong when the danger is not there sometimes because the stakes are high.
Thank both of you so much for this important topic. As an education research expert, I think it would be essential to follow this up with a roundtable discussion. Knowing that SL is a recipient of federal funds, offers over 75 percent of applicants receive some aid that's 'benevolent', should be a wake up call for ANY parent or student looking into attending college.
I completely get what Josh is saying about "false positives". If I feel that deep seated "ick" I get away from that person or at least avoid them as much as possible. I'm wrong about them, I'm okay with that. My safety comes first.
I read the article. It is unbelievable that the university allowed a grown man to live with the students. The families should be angry because campus authorities should have never allowed that living situation.

@@sagedoesthings98 YES! That statement summed it up so nicely!

Josh's reinvention of "the talk" is excellent. Thank you both for this conversation.

Josh would be an excellent, wise, mature dad. His blurb about what to say to your child was perfect. 👍
Bless you both. ❤❤
Always good to hear Josh.
What a nice surprise to stumble upon this video! Excellent talk as always, thank you both.

The saying "better safe than sorry" comes to mind.
Your speech to parents, bravo Josh 😊🎉
LOVE YOU JOSH!!!!
Great to hear both of you chat
Thanks guys. Fun chat. 🐿

I want to be friends with Josh Slocum so bad. 😅
I had to keep quarters in my mouth to keep my mouth shut. Those families are not fun
