I still personally felt that for the 3 episodes he should have used the age gundams and each one is a proper step like the age 1 for well episode 1 teaching customization and the like age 2 for episode 2 teaching handling and how much he improved and age 3 for episode 3 as the culmination but instead we got nothing but bad and just not good story and nothing in terms of gunpla lessons
I recently thought of Gunpla Builders Beginning G, another 3-episode celebratory series for Gunpla. And you know what? That's a series with more heart than this one. The units the characters use don't matter a single bit, what matters is the storytelling. Haru stuck with the Beginning for 2 episodes, stumbled and improved during that time, and then got better (until turned into another Gary Stu with the 30 parts), but it still brought across that the point of Gunpla is to have fun and put in effort. Unlike this travesty of a series
Not to mention that the plates with the Bazooka, Hammer and Javelin are original to the RX-78 Full Weapon Set, so for those who would want to get the weapons, the Shisaku Ichigata is a good representation of bang for your buck, making it as complete as it can.
And the red beams as well. They're rare outside of G-Reco. I also don't think any kit has red SB-13 beams at all, so this is the only way to get those so far.
You know that clip at the beginning of the video described these 2 models very well and I'm with you I am digging the icy blue color palette of this prototype version. Has a more stronger feel to it when compared to the actual finished version and with all the weapons that this one has, it's easily the superior version despite being the prototype version. Like yeah as you said it's pretty much just another version of the main character's gundam from the show and yes if you really think about it, it's just another version of the RX782 again but at least with this one you do get a lot more weapons in comparison to the finished version and you can even convert it back to the finished version but with this 1's color scheme and you can turn it into the RX782 if you want so really you have the best of both worlds unless you don't like this color palate. Overall a very solid review of this prototype version of the kit that has all the weapons that the actual finished version didn't get for some reason. Great job as always! Oh and before I forget I finally managed to build the moon gundam and the Lrifth and overall: Moon Gundam: It was a huge massive journey because I spent several hours working on it but it was well worth it and it is a fantastic sturdy kit. Lrifth: Aside from me getting a joint for the right leg stuck for the past couple of hours the build itself was very simple a lot of fun and much like the moon gundam even this one is very sturdy and very fun to play around with and pose.
This kit literally has everything you could ask for from the Lah Gundam. Sadly, it's an exclusive that people will have to splash out for. P.S. I'm glad you enjoyed your purchases
Ahahahaha, great intro! Tho bright whtie being low visibility, I don't know... I'd still take this one over the other kit, love the weapons of the Entry Grade full weapon kit. Very nice pose in the Verdict at 4:00 too, always love when we can pose Gunpla with the shield held in hand and leading to cover more of the body, like real shields by medieval soldiers and modern SWAT and such.
The intro is so true though. Though yeah, bright white for low-vis doesn't really make sense. I was just quoting its settings. The weapons really make up for it though. Also, because shield handles only often work 1 time out of 10, I'm always glad for kits that can hold their shields solidly in the hand
From what James May said, this is how Bandai mocking their customers, hobbyist, and franchise fandoms throughout the release of their "Premium" and "Limited" products.
The other instance I could think of this being the case was the HG Zeta revive, where they made the standard one, and then the U.C. 0088 one a premium kit, but with better color separation. Because screw the other markets who can't get access to the better products
@@mj2005gundam only problem with the Zudah are the oversized feet. But I can see why they did this. With smaller ones you are forced to use a Action Base.
So uhh, how brittle are the plastic used by EG kits exactly? Like besides the fact they get loose easy from just moderate amount of posing, how durable are the joints before they snap? And by snap I mean the axle part of the ball joint getting ripped apart preventing the limbs to connect to the MS. I heard the hip joints tend to snap for some people.
While I've never encountered the joints breaking before, it goes to show the weakness of PS on PS joints. Joints too loose are definitely no good. Joints that are too tight will either make it hard to handle due to them being easily dislodged, but also puts strain on the axles when you even try to move them. It depends on your luck and touches I guess, as tightening the joints too much will cause exactly that to happen.
Honestly, this should've been what they did with the standard, or at least have the bazooka, shield, and beam saber effects included to make the Nigata form actually useful.
No one is stopping you from getting both OR getting the EG Full Weapons Granddaddy for decking the standard one out. That being said, it's a terribly unfriendly practice by Bandai to coax you to purchase another kit just to fully load your standard Lah Gundam
Hope you’re doing okay! Don’t stress about putting out reviews for us, focus on yourself.
I'm OK. I just felt doubtful about myself.
This one looks 10x better than the og for me. I love this color scheme. Great review!
I totally agree, thank you for popping by

This color scheme looks a lot better than the standard Lah Gundam. If I ever get an EG, I might consider this one
IKR? I like these colors better than the final Lah
Great review, buddy. I found the original lah gundam very underwhelming. I love the color scheme of this version, though :) .
Yeah me too, thank you
Great review im glad to see you still reviewing gunpla
I am still reviewing Gunpla while I can. It's just that I was doubtful of myself and my credibility for slipping up in the past
We all slip up sometimes what matters is to let it make yoy improve in the future not to reflect back

White and blue are the perfect color schemes for Lah and Perfectibility. Makes me wonder how it would work with other gunpla.
White and blue are like the snowy combo that is soothing to look at
Top gear enjoyer also i see, Mr. Slowly approved 👍🧀

So, it's a recolor of the LAH Gundam with the extra stuff from the EG RX-78-2's full weapons set...
Still much better than the standard version because of those changes
@@mj2005gundam Unless you already have the full weapon set then it's just a matter of which colors you prefer. And I guess the Gundam Base stickers.

Hmm this or the HG Zudah.. I think I choose the Zudah, the 135mm Anti-Ship Rifle is such an eye catcher. :D
And nice mini-review. Like always!
Thank you. I have yet to review the Zudah, but I do want to get to it at some point. Though it is a shame that this one is G-Base exclusive

Do you review kits in scales other than 1/144?
I do review 1/100 kits that interest me. A big shame none of them have recently
Ngl this version of the Lah Gundam is better because it has more accessories
My point exactly
defiantly better, now how to get it...
I just got lucky that one store has it here in the UK
I still waiting HG ghost Gundam in you channel
I know. I still don't have it yet
Is this a different shade of white than the standard Lah? It feels brighter and more stark for some reason
It's actually more gray according to the paint guides
A acceptable lazy variants of Lah(?) Gundam, no outrageous modification or special gimmick

Paling kesal banget
It is annoying for sure
i hate it so much... i hate the colors lmao the base lah gundam has so much better solors... this is so empty. but all the guns... dammit
