Oh man, I could listen to Peter Case sing and tell stories for hours. What a treasure he certainly is. I was just a small child in his heyday (born in 77’); I’ll be damned if I didn’t miss out on experiencing the greatest artists in real time, of all time; from The Who, to Zeppelin, to Gordon Lightfoot, to Peter Case.
All bets were off with this one. Peter plays Walk in the Woods, a slow waltz version of Old Part of Town, one I hadn't heard maybe called Working for Your Enemy and then he closes with Charlie James. Don't worry, a crazy, all over the place story in NYC from around '72 is included plus the obligatory Plimsouls question.
A national treasure that most people are completely unaware of...
Yes, you nailed it. I could listen to his stories and his music all day long; a true artist he is.
