No mention that you're being waved down to a stop because I was laying on the trail :P It was a good place to stop and watch the Pro Stage from... That's some tight racing!!
Ha ha, didn't want to kick a man while he was down! 😅 Yeah you guys were crazy close on so many stages, just one small mistake or clean corner in it, great racing!
I thought I would leave it open for someone who doesn't build stuff like this for a job to have a stab at answering... I do wonder how much of a concern this is to everyone??
Hmmm, I am very intrigued! I assume there will be a small margin of error on everyone's time, because of the nature of the timing system, but I also assume that it is accurate enough for what we are using it for. However the 6 seconds is not a small amount! It does seems to apply to everyone though (on Stage 4 and possibly Stage 2). Perhaps the actual start was 6 seconds later than what we thought was the start? Or maybe the actual finish was 6 seconds early than we actually thought? Maybe the hand bands are not registering the start time till 6 seconds after the start? Maybe there is an error in the stage time calculation? (Though this seems unlikely). Maybe 6 seconds is being deliberately deducted from the times, though I can't see why that would be. At the end of the day, if everyone is getting 6 seconds deducted then it's not a big deal, but if the amount (6 seconds) is slightly different for everyone then then could be a problem?? Time to spill the beans Rohan!
Nice work ryan!
Thanks mate! How did you go alright?
