Talapus and Olallie Lakes via Talapus Lake Trail, Snoqualmie Pass, Washington 01/06/2024

Our first hike of the year. Today, we take on this moderately challenging trail out near Snoqualmie Pass that takes hikers up first to Talapus, then Olallie Lake. AllTrails estimates the hike is 5.7 miles out-and-back, with and average time of 2 h 55 min to complete. Total time spent out-and-back, for us, was 6 mile hike in 6 hours. I'm starting to believe that AllTrails gives us the halfway time instead of the full time it takes to complete a trail. Oh well. Enjoy!
