Great review and explanation of a rather complicated effect and pedal. That reverse delay sound was exactly what I was hearing in my head a few weeks ago when I was working up a tune. Sounds great. Unfortunately, when using the modulate mode, mine sounds drunk...the vibrato on the repeats is way too steep and slow. No U2 from this pedal. All the other modes great.
Impressive pedal and when you consider a Boss DD3T is up over the £100 mark, it makes the Nux look staggering value. I use a Digitech Digidelay I bought over 10 years ago, I really like it but it's not as well spec'd as the Nux and I paid more for it it even then. I wonder if my wife would buy the old line that "I bought this pedal and saved a fortune". Probably not!
This is a great sounding delay pedal at a decent price, reckon I might pick one be up soon. The reverse delay actually sounds really nice and useable unlike many other brands that I don’t really think sound very useable. I already have the NUX Tape Core Deluxe which is excellent for the £65 new I paid for it, very well made, lovely tone and really good control over editable parameters, I also have the NUX Morning Star drive which is a great clone of the JHS Morning Glory which I wish I owned cos I think it’s a lovely sounding pedal. I’m really impressed with the NUX pedals and modellers at their price point, great sounding fx, well built and nicely designed, for me NUX are at the higher end of the budget range of guitar FX pedals, worth paying that little bit extra in my opinion for their overall better quality. Thanks as always for the comment, all of the NUX pedals i've tried have been amazing for the money, they really are putting a lot of effort and resources into R&D and coming up with sometimes innovative and great sounding products, the time core is fantastic, i still use it, and as you day the reverse has a rhythm to it, thanks also for the feedback, i never know if i'm just waffling on or playing too much or too little so cheers!

The horseman is bootylicious, it's basically one of the many clon clones or attempts but between clon and horsemen I heard least amount of difference but for like 60 bones. It has same mystical powers, just have a jazz cigarette first.

Some great looper options, ones I’ve tried and recommend would be the the Lekato loop auto, tge NUX drum and loop,the ditto looper and the flamma FS21, I have videos on all of them, hope it helps you out, cheers!
Ah... the hold mode is a 40 second looper, you can push it to record a phrase then overdub onto it, I didn’t use it as I have a lot of loopers and they seem to be included on a lot of import pedals, cheers
NUX - I bought their Atlantic delay/reverb pedal. Sounded great ... but it has developed a nasty hum, so the pedal always makes a little noise when it's on. Haven't figured out anything to do to fix it - even tried to update the firmware, to no avail. So - Nux pedals sound cool, but not sure I'd trust them to be consistent or last very long!
What's the power supply do you use with Atlantic? Before the Atlantic, which pedal do you link to? Atlantic is a digital pedal, it costs more current as it mentioned on the pedal bottom or in the manual.
I just bought this one second hand with dirt cheap price 😁 and comes with Donner Morpher all in all for only about 40 USD. You should really use it's stereo output, it can give very lush and rich sounding specially Pingpong and Pan

Does this have analog dry thru?
It doesn’t, just either stereo or mono
What is the difference between the regular Time Core and the Time Core Deluxe?
They are different in that the deluxe has tape delay and reverse but no chorus, check out nuxefx.com for the specs :)
Is there a dotted eight setting?
You can't specifically dial it in but it has a tap tempo if that helps :)
