Was there a nice shinny new road roller parked up nearby? Reason I'm asking is.... They never use the bloody things to flatten those loose chippings into the damn tarmac.... Bloody service advisers 😂
Hey Barry, would you say this 4 series feels engaged with the road? - I’ve test driven a 2020 530d , and new 3 series g20 - not sure if you’ve driven them but they both feel so arcade game type feedback. Slightest movement from the steering or brakes. And there’s a massive reaction. - hate it I’ve not driven a 4 series before, very swayed to buy a diesel one. Would you say it’s engaging to drive?
it would take too long to put it back when someone else wanted to drive it, then there are all the wires for the seat belt, heated seats and airbags to consider, your idea just isnt practical
I've bought one as a result of watching this review!
Must be the best review of any car I think I have ever seen. Thank you!
Must have been a service advisor best insult I think I have ever heard. 🤣
Nice review...i have the 4 door version...best car i have ever had...
Great review, i’m picking mine up this weekend 👍🏻
enjoy!
Next week for me 👌🏾
picking mine up in 2 days :)
Thanks for the review, I just purchased the same, but I can't pick it up for a few days and super excited thus looking for video reviews.
Me right now too 😀😊
Mime comes tomorrow I can't wait ! Black alloys red leather 48k miles 2016 paid 18750
Hi. I’m in the market for a 4 series. I’m considering a 430d but wondering if a 420d will suffice. Is there much difference in MPG between the two?
What's a good value now I've seen one for 19k 48000 miles 2016 really nice black alloys
Our Barry too kool for skool @ 0:17 😎
LOL 😎
Being a BMW, did you find the indicator stalk stiff thru lack of use? lol. Nice car though.
👏🏽🤣😂
No
Thanks for the great video 👍. I always enjoy watching your reviews . I have also subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
Informative video, mine comes Monday
Have fun!
Does the 2016 model have CarPlay? If not, is there a way to add?
Good review of a good car...thanks Barrie!
Glad you liked it!
How do you find the 2.0 engine in this car, does it pull hard? I’ve viewed a 125D and not sure a lower HP car could compete..
Got one myself, stage 1 remap got it to 220 ish bhp, it pulls quite well tbh
kool looks like the car just glides along
Is there much difference in terms of the interior with this and the equivalent age 3 series?
You really don’t like service advisors Barry!
Not useless ones, that cant get a cars mileage right, or put the stamp in the right place
This or the Miura then baz?
Miura

Whats the front leg space like? Im 6,5ft so a bit restricted although I am fine with my BMW 3 series coupe
The front seat is low and can go pretty far back, im on the taller side and there's plenty of room to spare
@@SuperHell99 I tried one at a showroom but the seat didnt go back enough for me so I ended up buying a 5 series which I am very happy with.
@@pires908 fair play mate, 5 series is extremely spacious with plenty of power, was in an M5 Competition the other day, very fun car
@@SuperHell99 I went for the 520d M sport but surprisingly nippy for a 2 litre car
Do seem like great cars, parents are looking at one right now, wish they’d go with the 420i tho haha
I’m just looking at one now. 420 msport. Looks like the m4 with the kit on. 2014 plate for 19 grand Trade in my 2011 120d msport
Shouldn't pay more than 16k for a 420
How many miles because I am looking at a pretty similar one for 20k with 40.000 miles
I’ve just bought a 2016 440i 35.000 miles for 20k. So I think same price for a 2 litre diesel is a bit too much
It sounds like a van with that diesel engine. So noisy.
🤣

Mid life crisis
Why not just remove the drivers seat and sit in the back seat?
