Hello Jessica I’ve been watching your videos for sometime but this camping two part video really captured me in many ways. I felt this one i really appreciate as you showed a side of you that was so open and real. You truly enjoyed being in the forest living a lifestyle that many Filipinos still to this day live. It makes me appreciate you more as a Korean influencer as you don’t pretend you truly are showing how much you love and care about the Philippines. It shows how genuine and kind you are and really belong there as one of the Filipinos. Anyways I just wanted to show my true appreciation I hope you can go back and do another camping trip similar to this one. Maybe even bring others with you that don’t camp so you can share the experience and to see if they can handle it. Your doing a great job!! Thanks Jessica. Ian
Kudos kay TITA IMEE na pumayag magCamping si Jessica at sinamahan pa sya magCamping sa magandang forest/private property ni tita Imee. Napaka sweet mo tita Imee.
This is why you're my favorite Vlogger ❤️ You don't just make fun videos but warm videos as well. The kind that makes us feel at ease while we're watching. I also think that your Tita Imee is one great person. Very deep but also has a fun personality.
Ruel #1. Always check the weather when going on vacation or camping trip. Avoid the rainy season. But if you don't have a choice, then prepare for it. #2. Educate yourself about camping meaning do a little research to get tips on how to camp properly so you know how to avoid the pitfalls. #3. Get a good tent if you plan to go camping more than once. One that will not leak and you won't need to bring extra tarp . What's the point of getting tent if you have to cover it with a tarp? (as suggested by some of your viewers) #4. Bring mosquito repellant spray or Elephant Katol. You can also purchase clothing that already has insect repellant in it. #5. Emergency kit just in case you get cut or injured. #6. Let a family member know where you're going and when you'll be back so this way if you don't get back at your expected time, they can look for you. Enjoyed watching your vlog. Looking forward to see your next vlogventure.
mosquitos like biting in the foot area use a reppelant. when expecting rain when camping, it is advisable to use 2 tarps. one tarp on top of the tent for extra rain protection for the tent and an extended protection to the front tent entrance. and another tarp for “general purpose” use such as cooking, dining, socials, etc. tarp size shouldn’t be smaller that 10x10 feet or 3x3 meters. a polyester tarp is usually used in camping, it is lightweight and packable. always have a headlamp for hands free use of light while doing chores at night as opposed to just a flashlight and having to use one hand constantly. last is use a hiking backpack as opposed to a shoulder bag. it makes carrying weight more comfortable and hands free when hiking. on rainy days, waterproof your backpack by lining the bag inside with a trash bag then the contents. in this way, even if the bag is wet, the contents are dry (its an old mountaineering technique). having said that, hope you enjoy your next camping trip. im looking forward to it. Take nothing but pictures, Leave nothing but footprints, Kill nothing but time.
Entertaining, educational, and wholesome ❤️ no dramas, just pure enjoyment. Makes me smile everytime I'm watching your vlogs. Thank you for the love and support of our country 🙏 You're amazing! Stay safe always and hoping you can do a meet and greet soon! Me and my family will be there definitely!
It's really fun to camp in a heavy rain in the middle of the forest. this is really amazing adventure!. Ang galing mo naman gumamit ng ITAK jess. Heheh.
I knew this Philippine experience, so different from city life. Everything taste so much better when you cook your own food in the forest and just enjoy the camping and rain forest scenery. Relax to the point where the rain does not bother you anymore. Notice the beauty of the foliage, birds and the insects. Smell and hear everything during the night. Sleep deeper and more relaxed. Wake up to the shifting animal sounds. Thanks for posting!
Congratulations Jessica on you First Camping here in the Philippines!!!🎉 hehehe and the good thing is that You and tita Imee are safe and naka Survived kayo sa camping niyo sa gitna ng malakas na ulan. . Nice experience. What a great Camping!!! Thank you for sharing your amazing Camping journey Jess. 💙💓💙 love you
I think it's really strong and brave to be able to experience this kind of life and that healing. I think Philippines makes you independent and street smart. It was reality here. You really experienced a lot of things and when a disaster strike in other country you know what to do because we Filipinos, experienced it every year and would always find a hope to get up and face another day. This makes my heart crumble how Ate Jessica get along with everyone and the kids! OMGGG I actually see a lot of like kindergarten and high school in Cebu going to their schools accompanied by their Mother/Parents. AAAAAA GOODLUCK to all students out there especially me! HAAHAHHA
i kinda like this type of videos~ low production and leans more to an interesting but still very filipino experience (so its not that boring) for jessica where shes at the same time also kind of just chilling since it isnt staged but an actual memory for her imo this is real filipino camping, unpredictable weather, inside an actual rain forest with uneven ground and messy unkempt tiny clearing and to top it off its within a property of ur rich tita haha vs. american/korean camping where they have designated places with electrical outlets etc i saw in south korea they even have wooden docks bc casual overnight camping is so common there!
Peppermint soap repels mosquitoes. My kids went to Malawi for two weeks using peppermint soap no mosquito bites while the rest of their group all contracted malaria. I loved watching your adventure and every posting. You are a classic beauty and your voice is so soothing and easy to listen to. Your occasional use of Tagalog words and phrases helps me understand more than hearing native speakers. Salamat po!
I need this for sure wanna go home and do a long hike to see nature to heal my soul as this days is totally depressing and stressful. Thank u for sharing ur journey jes so proud of u as a foriener grown up in Philippines ur embracing whe whole process, culture, tradition and as a citizen in a foreign community. Ur such an inspiration to many. Stay safe best regards from Singapore
Friendly tip when camping on a forest. Put a tarp above your tent so when it rains your tent is dry because of the tarp shielding it from the down pour then dig small canals around your tent to prevent water getting under the tent. 😁😁 anyways i enjoyed watching your camping video. Keep it up 😀😀
I'm currently in the city because we already have f2f classes and the vibe in you videos are exactly like the vibe in my province Dingalan, Aurora. Taking bath in the river, having coffee in the beach and just living a simple life 💗. It's so nostalgic. I'm missing my home so much and my mother who is alone in the province. 😭💗
Ate Jesss~ ang pamahiin or sabi-sabi pag nasa mapuno o magubat, wag daw magtuturo or kung magturo man is kagatin daw ang daliri dahil sa mga nuno or di nakikitang nilalang. Hehe SKL poooo~ love you, ate! more amazing videos ahead ❤ keep safe po!
watching this gives me healing, which I needed so much. thank you, Jessica! I’ve been a silent subscriber since you started vlogging and I am very happy that you have come this far. ☺️ God bless you!
hindi ko alam kung bakit narerelax ako kapag napapanuod ko ung mga vlog mo ms. jessica specially itong video at ung mga gala mo sa pinas, ung mga sounds kasi nakakarelax, saka nakakatuwa lng ksi mahal mo ung pinas, im here now in korea for working and i love also the korean culture :)
you should go camping next time during summer so you can really enjoy and no rain will gonna bother you but it's still a good experience for you 😁 yung camping experience mo is like my everyday life since I'm living sa bundok na area din except na may bahay kami kaya even if it rains we are still dry and comfortable inside our home
A story to tell to your future kids. What a great adventure. God bless you more Jessica. Looking forward to your next adventure. Just take it slow and enjoy the moment. We love you! From Cebu 💕
I love hiking and camping, glad my friend recommended me your channel. Well, I'm loving it and I'm actually binge watching your videos now. You're so charming and seems so friendly. You should come and visit Cebu one day and let's go hiking. Hope to meet you in person one day. 🙂
how are you so good in socializing with people regardless of their age 😭 ?? i need to take lessons from you bc i get shy and become timid around new people... sometimes i worry that i might appear cold which isn't exactly true :( . i get bubbly once i've warmed up to you but yea, i've always been shy ever since i was a kid
at first i thought that i was attracted to your vlogs coz you are very pretty (stunningly beautiful actually to my taste). but later i've realized that it was more because of the inner beauty that you have, a captivating personality that one can't help but notice while attentively watching your vlogs and observing closely the way you interact with people whether they are your relatives, close friends, casual acquaintances and even total strangers.
an advice from a frequent camper/hiker for your next camp po ate, put a tarp under the tent and make sure to roll the lumagpas na tarp para di pumasok sa ilalim yung water
out in the rainforest and the background music is jazz... If anything, this kind of camping away from the hustle and grind culture of modern civilizations is really a luxury
Hi Jessica. I just watched your video on facebook visiting Bacolod City. I was teary-eyed when you showed the places around Bacolod. I haven't been home (Talisay City, a city after Bacolod) for more than 3 years now because of pandemic. I am an OFW. Thanks for your videos gwapa.
Wow naman so nice and sweet and very down to Earth talaga ni Jessica, sana all nameet ka na in person, I'm jealous, I wish and I hope to meet you in person someday as well, Tita Imee is so cool and nice. Saya nya kabonding. hehehe Thank God you and tita Imeesnd the viilligers of that place are safe ❤❤❤
I had a blast watching this life-in-the-province vlog. People got to see how peaceful it is to live outside the city. It is pretty much different in terms of lifestyle but you will get used to it as time goes by. Enjoy and keep safe always, Jes!
😩☝️ang Ganda Ng stories, Ganda Ng pamusical 😊( tent &camping 101) dapat naghukay ka Ng Kanal around the edges of your tents para doon mag sip-out yong water , Kung heavy yong rain pwede young dahon ng saging ilagay sa ibabaw Ng tent..😁 lol,.. anyway Camping ulit season 2 summer edition...😊👍👍
I love you, Jessica! Thank you for your heart to explore things and help people realize how much we're missing out the beauty beyond life's simplicity. I also love tita's words of wisdom about life, especially about living as the earth does.--- that the world doesn't adjust to us, but we are the ones who ought to do it otherwise. That's how life is. And that is a kind of mindset that we need. Kudos! I hope you're doing okay, and I hope that you'll get to experience even more special journeys in the PH. God bless you! Prayers and love, OFW in Japan 🇵🇭🇯🇵
The fact that i watched this while calming myself down after a stressful day from school is so right i think? I was ok while traveling to go home but then it all just came crushing down that this is the reality of life. Thank you ate Jessica! I was able to calm myself a little bit but im still pretty scared but again thank you. Love you♡
I felt so sad at the end of the video I was just like about to cry because even though I'm just watching this video from ep.1 to ep. 2 i also felt like it was a very exciting and fun but all of a sudden just woken up like it was just a dream. Although I really reallyyyy enjoy all of your vlogs iloveyou ate jessica stay safe and pretty as always 😟😭😓💌❤💯
Avoid wearing black clothes so that mosquitos will come to you and bite you... mosquitos like dark areas, and when you go camping it is better to wear light colors.
I really love the way you tell your stories. I could spend the whole time listening to your kwentos and watching your videos. It's a bummer that your camping trip were all rain but it's an adventure in itself. Looking forward to more kwento from you.
The Philippine weather is such a curveball no? HAHAHA. But it was still a blessing somehow since you got to spend time with other people once you got back down. Thank you for taking the initiative to rest and heal. It's such an underrated act of self-love and self-care. I know you got a lot of content in the works and ready to release so, can't wait for 'em! Thank you for this series!
Im happy to see this cute girl from korea trying to be a probinsyana lived in a barrio or ina a forest. Salute to Ms. Jessica Lee. Thanks for being pusong pinoy
Watching your videos for a few years now. You have greatly improved your vlogging content and style. Also, you are getting way more and more maganda as time goes on. Pinaka magandang girl ever Jessica Lee my goodness
Next time you go out and are expecting rain, each person should take an extra tarp (at least a 3 x3 meter one). Put the extra tarp over your tent for added rainproofing in addition to using a larger tarp to create the common area as you did in your videos.
Hi Jessica..I really love all your videos..I deeply feel your love at our country ...your are not maarte....so simple , warm , kind and beautiful...I hope you can explore the country more and feature in your vids....Hope in some time you can visit also the Occidental Mindoro like Abra de Ilog where beautiful nature, rivers are there and also in Sablayan and Apo Reef....God bless you and we love you here....
Nice wrap up to the camping trip! sana ol may bebenta pa ng scramble... dito kase pupunta pa ako ng downtown para maka kain lool You should hang a bolo and an itak and the traditional korean sword for display at your house~ I wonder what's the difference between traditional rice cooking in Philippines and in Korea by small to large amounts...
we had the same experience during our camping a few yrs ago, it rained cats and dogs during the night and our tent was leaking but we managed to enjoy and in the morning the sunrise was just so beautiful and we had a bountiful breakfast. Now im crying remembering the time when everything was still okay if I could only turn bck time 😭😭
I really really really really really really really hope that you make videos like the ease of just outdoor videos it makes your already entertaining videos even more entertaining and fun and very informational just everything good about a youtube video or a video in general! It was indeed very healing!♥️
You're one of the best channels I've seen, i always believe that, when we do things that we love or like, we can always get the motivation that we need.
Baliktad tayo, sa rice cooker laging may tutong. Pero sa kaldero, never nagkatutong yung sinaing ko. Isa lang technique jan. Pagkumulo, turn off the fire. Give it at least 5 mins. Then saka mo buksan, pag-moist na lang, or sobrang onti na lang ng tubig, saka mo buksan ulit, lowest fire. After 5 mins turn it off. Leave it for 5-7 mins. Luto 'yang kanin ng walang tutong. No need for salt.
Wow, Jessica! 🙂 I am so glad you didn't get found by any of the creepy slithering and slimy monsters that come out from hiding when the heavy rains are falling at night. That food looked delicious and I got hungry watching you cooking. Glad you had fun dispite the lovely weather. That reminds me of my past camping experiences. Ohhh well. You did breath fresh clean air and got to swim in the rain water. Thanks for your video! 🙂
Jessica will be next ambassador, promoting Philippines 🇵🇭 ( food and places ). Kudos ❤️
Agreed into this. Jessica will be the next ambassador.😊

Really? I think camping when it’s raining is miserable. Hard to stay dry. It’s cold and wet. You can’t cook.

Jessica can really come up with masterpieces of content, not just mere mediocre vlog. *gujab!*
Tip: if you're in a tropical forest, always assume that it would rain regardless of season. Especially if you're in higher elevation. 😊
I never thought of Jessica as the adventurous type. Iba siya, not really your typical Koreana. Truly admirable.

Hi Jessica. I just watched your video on facebook visiting Bacolod City. I was teary-eyed when you showed the places around Bacolod. I haven't been home (Talisay City, a city after Bacolod) for more than 3 years now because of pandemic. I am an OFW. Thanks for your videos gwapa.

You should hang a bolo and an itak and the traditional korean sword for display at your house~
I wonder what's the difference between traditional rice cooking in Philippines and in Korea by small to large amounts...
we had the same experience during our camping a few yrs ago, it rained cats and dogs during the night and our tent was leaking but we managed to enjoy and in the morning the sunrise was just so beautiful and we had a bountiful breakfast.

Konting push nalang malapit kana mag 1M ate✨
The rain actually made your camping vlog more interesting 😁
Wow! Evolving and surviving Jessica! Don't take the killer boosters...! God bless!
I really love this kind of contents, i hope you do more videos connecting to nature. ily, ate Jessica!♡
I love this kind of vlog. Very calming
I really enjoy watching your videos. Gaya ng sabi nila...walang ka ekekan. 😊😊😊😊
Baliktad tayo, sa rice cooker laging may tutong. Pero sa kaldero, never nagkatutong yung sinaing ko. Isa lang technique jan. Pagkumulo, turn off the fire. Give it at least 5 mins. Then saka mo buksan, pag-moist na lang, or sobrang onti na lang ng tubig, saka mo buksan ulit, lowest fire. After 5 mins turn it off. Leave it for 5-7 mins. Luto 'yang kanin ng walang tutong. No need for salt.
6:54, It's because you wore all BLACK. they say that black clothes attract mosquitoes
I really enjoy the two series! 🥰
Good thing the cut branches you are adding on the fire are somewhat cooperating as per the rain last night, most of them are wet.
Hello po Ms.Jessica...please visit also Bicol..we too have some nice place to visit and food to eat... hope to see you here! 😊
