    Drugs mask my depression and loneliness. Its unbearable every time I quit. Its the only thing that keeps me continuing even though I hate it.

    I've been researching the different ways I could consciously and intentionally make the shifts in my own perceptions on self worth, vision/hope for the Future, service work, and interpersonal communication/connection/support network. The piece that has been difficult is the physical dependency and how that affects my own perceptions surrounding my cognitive abilities. In other words, my mind becomes confused and I have focus issues while at the same time trying to maintain a baseline level necessary to perform basic functions. So far, establishing a baseline adequate to maintain functionability so I don't make life harder for myself while I'm stabilizing into a new norm. Harm reduction, I think is what it's called?

    Thank you Dr. Right now I am on day two of the Bernese method and even if the change is positive can we use other drugs that helps with sleep and anxiety etc. Also my question is how do you help yourself to have a different outlook of people on me and this is really detrimental. What otc drugs or prescription that can help with positive mind ?? You are a person who God has blessed and I pray that you get more knowledge to understand and share what can help to our plight .

      Does he experience it no matter how many hours he waits before taking the buprenorphine?

    • @BreezeGLuv
      @BreezeGLuv 23 дня назад

      He needs to wait as long as he possibly can some people have to wait twice as long because our bodies all metabolize medications differently. My doctor told me 24 hours after my last opiate but my best friend, she had to wait twice as long. I still remember that my doctor said, the longer you wait to take it, the better you'll feel when you do! That stuck with me. I also had to realize that I couldn't expect the same thing I got from an opiate from the buprenorphine & tried Suboxone like three or four times before actually committing... There are also methadone clinics & in Florida right now they're trying to get the law changed to where methadone can be taken home prescribed just like Suboxone. Instead of just at a clinic.

      Same. My clean date is changed now but do you take anything for your anxiety? It sounds crazy but I swear by magnesium. I feel like we're all division and especially people that have taken medication for years or use drugs. The difference whenever I take it and don't is huge.

      Everyone's story and recovery is unique and different. Can't say no can't say yes because it's so individualized.
      I'd speak to a personal counselor and tell them your story and hear their opinion rather than people who don't know you online who can be mean and shut people down/lift people up when they need help.
      So it depends. Good luck.
