I have been watching your videos for the past hour and a half, and I have decided I definitely need to invest in a wig! As a teacher, there are some days I just don't feel like messing with my hair, and with one of these gorgeous wigs (or two or three), I would never have to worry about a bad hair day ever again. GUTTED! I found this channel about a week ago and spent the week watching just about all of the videos with pen and paper writing down my favourites trying to decide which ones I liked best in which colours etc, which is hard as there are so many beautiful styles. Then finally I decided which one I wanted and I went to place my order only to find that the shipping costs to the UK was $65/£47.50!!! Seriously, how can it cost that much to ship a light wig to the UK? I have ordered lots of merchandise from the US and have never had to pay that amount of shipping even for items that were heavier than a wig. As a result I am devastated to say I won't be ordering any wigs from Godivas and will have to start a search for a similar company that is UK based even though the quality of the wigs won't be as good as Godivas which seem exceptional. I am a carer for my daughter who has major MH issues so I live on carers benefits as I cannot work due to caring for her and whilst I had the money to buy the wig, I feel paying $65 just to get it delivered is a step too far for me as it's a quarter the cost of the wig on top. So disappointed 😥

Yes, Tema, Rochelle can be parted down the middle. Just remember that Rochelle is a machine teased wig on top for some added, gentle lift - so it won't be a scalp-looking flat on top wig. I would suggest a zig zag center part or a slight side part -I love mine and think you would too! xo

I don't know how you wear it, or store it or maintain it, or if you leaned against a wall heater or near a hot-higher oven, etc. Or, the grandkids played w/ it ... If you haven't washed/conditioned it, maybe do that, it may help - our Vivaci may help - it's very hard for me to guess the right thing without seeing it...wish I could. Ro

Hi Jasmine, I would suggest wigs with a little bang for you. And, as you watch our videos, it's a great idea to take notes on the styles and colors you might like. Any of our wigs without bangs can have bangs trimmed into them by a hairdresser or watch our bang trim tutorial. Also, try to wear a wig with bangs just a touch higher on your forehead to make the illusion of a larger forehead. By sewing 2 wig clips at the hairline of the wig, you can snap them in wherever you'd like! Dear Joan, the beauty of being an older woman (over 60) is hopefully we give ourselves permission to be whoever we want to be and not care what others think. I have a question..... I ordered a wig and sent it back ( not from your company) because I am left handed, and comb my hair from the right over to the left. You stated that all your wigs can be combed to either side..... does that include the ones like Cristi that are asymmetrical? Also... Hi Ikn0, Rochelle here! I hear what you're saying about being eft-handed, so am I. Over the years I have learned that whichever way makes the wig look best on me is the way I brush it. I do switch my parts around on some. With Cristi, the reason we all love it so is because of that asymmetrical look and sexy bang around the face. I would vote to try something new and part without the habit of your own hair. Yes, we do have petite wigs and Freedom is coming in petite soon! Because I NEVER EVER part my hair on the left.... the right ONLY.... opposite of what most others do. so... my question is.... do all of your wigs do that ( able to be combed either direction), or are they pretty much trained to go from left to right? And for asymmetrical wigs, are they cut to only be styled from left combing to the right?

Please read this carefully, though; everyone of our wigs can be brushed either way - HOWEVER, that does not mean that every single wig style will look great brushed in a different direction than it was created for. Personally, some of my wigs own are worn in a different direction than intended; that is not a guarantee that they will ALL look great in any direction we're in the mood for. That's why I answered your question the way I did originally. I wish I could just look at all the wigs in the one or two colors I like rather than styles 1st showing available colors only after selecting the style. I have searched for something I like in copper glaze for so long I'm nearly blind from looking at the screen. I cannot find styles that I like in the preferred colors. I am looking for something closest to my natural color. Which is the color of iron rich red dirt. LOL! Like rust.

You guys have really done a phenomenal job I’m almost wanting to go gray and white… Always wanted to have white hair… Always wanted to have platinum blonde hair that’s what I was born with but my hair is blonde and black and I’ve had it for about 30 years now before it was popular and I was called lots of names One in take your was “skunk” but now that the hair is thin and to be honest I don’t want to wash my hair every day so by the fourth day my hair starts looking kind of funky and it would be nice to have something to throw on other than a baseball cap 🧢 I like long but when the babies were young and first born I went very short to my scalp very spiky and very sexy I loved it but I also love love my long hair it’s just too thin I’m looking forward to speaking to your representative that’s going to call me back and help me😀 I also live in Arizona summer here is 117° and counting even with my own hair I wish I had ice cubes underneath it but I’m open to suggestions and I’m open to new experiences I also like funky colors purple green blue you name it I’m willing to try it🎆

I have been watching your videos for the past hour and a half, and I have decided I definitely need to invest in a wig! I found this channel about a week ago and spent the week watching just about all of the videos with pen and paper writing down my favourites trying to decide which ones I liked best in which colours etc, which is hard as there are so many beautiful styles. Then finally I decided which one I wanted and I went to place my order only to find that the shipping costs to the UK was $65/£47.50!!!
Seriously, how can it cost that much to ship a light wig to the UK?
I have ordered lots of merchandise from the US and have never had to pay that amount of shipping even for items that were heavier than a wig.
As a result I am devastated to say I won't be ordering any wigs from Godivas and will have to start a search for a similar company that is UK based even though the quality of the wigs won't be as good as Godivas which seem exceptional.
I am a carer for my daughter who has major MH issues so I live on carers benefits as I cannot work due to caring for her and whilst I had the money to buy the wig, I feel paying $65 just to get it delivered is a step too far for me as it's a quarter the cost of the wig on top.
So disappointed 😥

Yes, Tema, Rochelle can be parted down the middle. Just remember that Rochelle is a machine teased wig on top for some added, gentle lift - so it won't be a scalp-looking flat on top wig. I would suggest a zig zag center part or a slight side part -I love mine and think you would too! xo

I don't know how you wear it, or store it or maintain it, or if you leaned against a wall heater or near a hot-higher oven, etc. Or, the grandkids played w/ it ... If you haven't washed/conditioned it, maybe do that, it may help - our Vivaci may help - it's very hard for me to guess the right thing without seeing it...wish I could. Ro

Hi Jasmine, I would suggest wigs with a little bang for you. And, as you watch our videos, it's a great idea to take notes on the styles and colors you might like. Any of our wigs without bangs can have bangs trimmed into them by a hairdresser or watch our bang trim tutorial. Also, try to wear a wig with bangs just a touch higher on your forehead to make the illusion of a larger forehead. By sewing 2 wig clips at the hairline of the wig, you can snap them in wherever you'd like! Here's more info and you can also call us for more assistance or to order:

Hi CW, have you tried teasing it under with a little spray? Some clients have a little of the flip and bottom trimmed just a little. These are tricks that I've done over the years...

Hi Barrash, Rochelle here! There are many different ways to secure your wig. When I'm in a short wig, I prefer bobby pins; in a longer wig, I love our metal wig clips - 2 at the hairline. Here's a link to securing your wigs:

Dear Joan, the beauty of being an older woman (over 60) is hopefully we give ourselves permission to be whoever we want to be and not care what others think. I trust my clients and I feel they trust me. We need to learn to honor and trust ourselves. We know our wigs and every one has special qualities and they are all beautiful. It's all about who YOU want to be. Your question is exactly why most of our clients own 2 to 20+ wigs - some shorter, or longer, some darker or lighter and some that look similar to our own hair. Be who you want to be and enjoy yourself - we need to stop choosing by other people's fear of change - change can be fun and uplifting - it's all how you look at it! I have a question..... I ordered a wig and sent it back ( not from your company) because I am left handed, and comb my hair from the right over to the left. You stated that all your wigs can be combed to either side..... does that include the ones like Cristi that are asymmetrical? Also... I am very short, and have a small head... do these come in smaller sizes? Thank you!!!
Hi Ikn0, Rochelle here! I hear what you're saying about being eft-handed, so am I. Over the years I have learned that whichever way makes the wig look best on me is the way I brush it. I do switch my parts around on some. With Cristi, the reason we all love it so is because of that asymmetrical look and sexy bang around the face. I would vote to try something new and part without the habit of your own hair. Yes, we do have petite wigs and Freedom is coming in petite soon! Here's the link for petite wigs:

Please read this carefully, though; everyone of our wigs can be brushed either way - HOWEVER, that does not mean that every single wig style will look great brushed in a different direction than it was created for. Personally, some of my wigs own are worn in a different direction than intended; that is not a guarantee that they will ALL look great in any direction we're in the mood for. That's why I answered your question the way I did originally. Maybe call us toll free in the US at 877 567 9447 if there is a specific style you'd like to see parted on the right - possibly our wig experts can show you how it would look. Can these be tightened up so they won't blow off?
Hi Judy, great question! Fast answer - yes, we have reinforced elastic adjustment straps on each side of the bottom of our wigs. Like bra straps, they can be tightened or loosed.

On the lf wigs, do you have to cut the lace?

I wish I could just look at all the wigs in the one or two colors I like rather than styles 1st showing available colors only after selecting the style. I have searched for something I like in copper glaze for so long I'm nearly blind from looking at the screen. I cannot find styles that I like in the preferred colors. I am looking for something closest to my natural color. Which is the color of iron rich red dirt. LOL! Like rust.

You guys have really done a phenomenal job I’m almost wanting to go gray and white… Always wanted to have white hair… Always wanted to have platinum blonde hair that’s what I was born with but my hair is blonde and black and I’ve had it for about 30 years now before it was popular and I was called lots of names One in take your was “skunk” but now that the hair is thin and to be honest I don’t want to wash my hair every day so by the fourth day my hair starts looking kind of funky and it would be nice to have something to throw on other than a baseball cap 🧢 I like long but when the babies were young and first born I went very short to my scalp very spiky and very sexy I loved it but I also love love my long hair it’s just too thin I’m looking forward to speaking to your representative that’s going to call me back and help me😀 I also live in Arizona summer here is 117° and counting even with my own hair I wish I had ice cubes underneath it but I’m open to suggestions and I’m open to new experiences I also like funky colors purple green blue you name it I’m willing to try it🎆
