DAMN! What an episode! This was fantastic! Where do I even begin?! Neo-Shin immediately bowing down only to be brutally, and rightfully, destroyed! Zilla Jr reuniting and hugging his adoptive father Kong. And Kong approving of Zilla's new mate. There was just so much going on and I love it!

I really enjoyed the fight between Neo Shin and SpaceGodzilla. The Big guy really took it to Neo Shin and you really can't blame him, Neo Shin killed his mate.
The Part where Jet Jaguar steps in was awesome. In a way it kind of reminds me of the final battle in Godzilla Singular Point.
Also the way SpaceGodzilla killed Neo Shin was brutal but honestly Neo Shin was asking for it. Also Kong reuniting with Zilla Jr and meeting Komodithrax was great too.
Also Minilla (what I'm calling Little Godzilla) appears to have been captured by Mechagodzilla 2. I wonder what Mechagodzilla 2 is up to with him, guess we'll find out.
Also looks like there's a new Mothra egg as I suspected. I wonder if it could hatch into Mothra Leo. Also, it would be great to see Battra in that part when its out.
With Neo Shin gone now that leaves Mechagodzilla 2, Shin Godzilla Biollante, and Gigan. I wonder if another villain will take Neo Shin's place, maybe Destoroyah, Bagan, or perhaps even Mecha King Ghidorah. Who knows maybe it could be an entirely original creation.
Great work as always and I hope to see Anguirus and Megalon in this series somehow.

I’m liking where this series is going. The animation is great as always and the fights were a joy to witness. There’s clearly a lot of passion behind these animated videos and I think that’s what makes it work (which is why I don’t want anyone to take what I say next as negative criticism).
However, there are a lot of moving parts at work here. Normally, I wouldn’t see that as a bad thing; I mean, the Marvel Movies were successful for a reason. But that reason doesn’t come from the fact that there are many characters, story details, and plot points. It comes from how well written they are and how they collate together to become something more. While there are some cases of intriguing characters and plenty of plot points that occur, I feel that there isn’t enough thought put into them to make this series truly compelling. In simpler terms, it’s like you’ve made a television series about monsters sharing bonds with one another and occasionally fighting each other, but only the climax (big battle) of each episode is present. There are so many missing pieces of the narrative meant to make us care about what happens on screen that it makes the biggest moments feel weightless.
What audiences usually advocate for is the end result of hundreds of hours of work coming together, not the hours of work themselves. This sucks because time taken beforehand to flesh out every element of a visual narrative work are what make most of Marvel’s movies work. The characters have depth to them which makes them tangible in addition to being relatable, the world building is intricate with reasons behind almost everything important about the universe they’re living in, the stories usually have a singular theme (Good vs. Evil, Redemption, Coming of Age, Sacrifice, and Love are some examples), and messages/lessons are attached to them so viewers can potentially learn from those movies. Nowadays, we’ve been blessed with many well animated works of art from RUclips that have great things going for them, but most creators lack the thought process necessary to make them more than just fun videos to watch in our downtime.
Hopefully, I don’t sound like a complete asshat trying to tell ASM how to do his/her job and more like someone who is simply offering some advice to anyone who’s willing to read this comment, instead. I’ve said my piece, and now I shall take my leave. Have a good *insert time of day here* and I wish you all the best! :D
So you want there to be some character arcs that come to completion? I guess that works for a narrative. I feel parts of this are antinarrative because most of the dialogue doesn't advance a story plot point. And that worked well for Castlevania, and tbh that's what drew me into this series for the most part. It is refreshing to have a fleshed-out plot. I will say, this series satisfies the inner child in me to have monster-centric relationships and goals. SO refreshing!
@@2snipe1 I agree with your view on this series having monster-centric relationships and goals. That kind of thing is very rare in modern media so when I happened upon ASM's channel it was a pleasant experience. The problem isn't necessarily that the character arcs are incomplete, its that they're finished abruptly to the point where we have little time to process what happened. They also aren't fleshed out nearly as much as they could be.
For instance, Godzilla and his mate could have had several episodes dedicated to showing their relationship with one another. I know we get a flashback in episode 17 that shows that they obviously love each other and care for the safety of their unborn child (I'm talking about the scene where they fire atomic breath at the egg to power it up). But, we aren't given much else aside from maybe the confirmation that Mothra was indeed a guardian angel working with Godzilla Jr.'s parents. Also, I personally think many of the characters in the series could've had their own backstories that explains how and why they operate the way they do. Instead we have a compilation of interesting moments with the payoffs being the center of attention as opposed to the genuine buildup beforehand.
If the reason why ASM can't do something like that is because it takes way too long and requires an enormous amount of work (considering that I'm 99% certain that ASM is 1 person) then that's fine by me. I know animation on its own takes a very long time so making an animated series with this level of quality as an individual is a monumental task. That's why I'm writing my own stories out as intricately as I can before I even learn animation. When I want to turn my own written work into a visual one, I can simply go over what's already been written down like how I would review notes for a class presentation and transfer that information into the animation. And regardless of how long animating each episode of my series takes, almost everything that happens in the final product will remain consistent with what's already on paper.

@@TheDoc. Mothra just died and it was a great sendoff to her character. Having her come back immediately, even if it's just as a larva, would feel underwhelming. Plus, why would a Mothra egg be on top of an iceberg? Her eggs have always hatched on islands. Plus, I feel like ASM is trying their hardest to involve new kaiju (they brought in new Mechagodzilla, SpaceGodzilla, Shin Biollante, etc.) and Battra would fit the bill for a cool new one to involve.
Also, Mothra's egg has always been vividly blue and yellow. This egg is more dull.

Spacegodzilla's crystals are so dense, they have the density of a black hole. Considering that, neo shin literally had 3 giant crystals the density of black holes lodged into his chest. And yet he still fought back, showing how damn powerful he is.

It also looks like Neo-Shin Godzilla can regenerate lost limbs, or injury’s over time, so probably the biggest part of Neo-Shin Godzilla that got blown up, will become a mini Shin Godzilla, or a Skull Crawler ate some of Neo-Shin Godzilla blown up flesh and turned into a mutated Shin Skull Crawler that could reproduce more of its kind like Shin Godzilla.

Finally the legendary series is back
I really wish that things could’ve been different because the moment Neo Shin Godzilla found out who “Space Godzilla” actually was it then immediately thought it had found it’s own parent be it only one sided in origin but still. It looked like it was lost to a certain extent and thought the kaiju it came from would be willing to accept it. And quite frankly if Neo Shin of course DIDN’T kill “Space Godzilla’s” mate he probably would’ve actually considered helping it. Since he's been doing nothing but that with other Kaijus (even the mechanical ones). Not to mention on how he now has all these crazy advanced psychic abilities and would most likely be able to use them to open up Neo Shin Godzilla’s mind and help guide it to a more stable form of life and consciousness start creating it's own future.
Unfortunately since it decided to go on attacking and killing all things it claimed was a threat to the original Shin Godzilla. So I guess it *technically* ended up bringing all of this massacre onto itself. But still I really wish that Neo Shin Godzilla could have had the chance to look over at all of those memories that was shown to it but what Neo Shin believed was it's new master and at least be able to get the chance to process exactly what it did and how greatly it wronged it’s own creator. Perhaps then it COULD'VE developed more of a consciousness and even it's own emotions to where it could’ve actually started to questioned all of it’s motives and probably get to the state where *MAYBE* it could TRY to figure a way to fix as much as it could have.
Like say “Space Godzilla’s” ACTUAL son. When I first saw this episode I stopped it at the whole “Neo Shin submitting to it’s creator” part and I almost immediately thought of Gojira jr. full grown body (from Godzilla vs Siren Head). Who’s outline looks almost exactly like “Neo Shin Godzilla’s” body and the fact that grown up Jr. body also has that crystal bone thing on his chest that’s also in the same exact position where Neo Shins body has that gapping hole at. Not to mention that it also lights up when he charges up his atomic breath just like how Neo Shin Godzilla’s body completely lights up when it is charging it’s atomic powers. I could totally see Neo Shin Godzilla running towards Godzilla Jr. defending him from something that could’ve have been a very fatal blow and when that happens Jr. confronts the fatally injured abomination that was responsible for his mother’s death. But Godzilla Jr. is now at war with himself wondering if he should still hate him for murdering his mother or be willing to put that behind him since the one who did it is not only fatally injured but it also saved his life in doing so. And in the end the supposedly soulless monstrosity ends up being confronted by the last traces of Mothra and helps guide Neo Snin Godzilla to where it can actually redeem itself.
Then it’s body is converted into energy and ends up merging with the nearest organic host which of course is none other than Godzilla Jr as Neo Shin Godzilla new host. And then finally we get the transformation where Goji Jr. starts immediately changing and evolving into his fully grown adult form where his bodys outline and a bit of it’s actual design is based off of Neo Shin Godzilla and the creature could be merged with something that actually has a soul and would no longer feel like it’s just a soulless creature who’s only goal is just to simply exist and survive all thanks to the last trace of life energy from Mothra the goddess of peace and redemption herself. But it’s just too bad that kind of thing didn’t happen since everyone wanted to see Space Godzilla to exact his “well deserved and very long waited revenge” by killing the thing that did his mate in and it the same way as she died. Everyone always prefers things this way the whole “A life for a life, a heart for a heart, and a kaiju for a kaiju” kind of thing without even looking at it from a bigger perspective.

Just imagining godzilla junior being unsure of his relationship with neo shin godzilla is giving him a deeper character , just if this unsureness continues in a long time with their relationship evolving , it'd be perfect !
Also , you've actually knew neo shin godzilla's point of view and how simple and kind he is to his father's figure ( spaceGodzilla ) , he was just misunderstood and was thinking female godzilla is an unknown threat to shin godzilla ( his actual father/DNA counterpart )
I feel really sorry for him , we all misunderstood his character and we were thinking that he is a cold killing machine that kills for fun
