Third time’s the charm for me! I was in a hurry to grow up and trying to find happiness in others without finding peace within first.
After being single for 3 years and realizing a lot about myself as well as mature and finding that inner piece I met my forever wife!
I thought I would be single forever after my second divorce, truly zero interest in dating or searching for companionship. My sister bought me a six month membership to Eharmony and after refusing to activate it she threatened too activate it and make me a profile. I made a profile just to get her off my back and two weeks later got a message from my now wife.
14 years later and two kids, I couldn’t imagine life without them! Moral is never say never and too all young adults, slow down and become self sufficient and ok being single! Be happy and content with yourself b4 you try to start a life without someone else.

Regarding your comment on women seeking out bad men and criminals, so true, but it is also true that good men often mindlessly go after bad women.
This poor firefighter, what was he thinking picking up a woman with five failed marriages? She was married 5 times, imagine how many affairs and relationships she had during and in between these marriages. Insane and irrational to pick such a woman and marry her. It has warnings all over written.
Same for her sister, just dumb and reckless to pick a convicted murderer to date. They are all sick in the head.

You know though. It is so fitting for her. She was a cocky, charismatic, chameleon actress. She knew, mostly that males would be her interrogators. She arrogantly ignorantly thought “a guys a guy is a guy”.
      Not so fast sweetheart.
Sad part is she learned this in childhood and mastered it, meaning she wasn’t observed and corrected early and often. She found a feral existence outside the womb so she decompensated by using duplicitous manipulations tactics.
Ofc, it’s all just for short honeymoon moments with new victims. Lack of congruence between words And deeds would find her hollowed out no substance, just Machiavelli primitive short-time preference impulsive high-seeking behavior.
She was born in tragedy and she practiced tragedy. If smart, she chose the evil for ever increasing fleeting moments of feeling “Normal”. If dumb, she don’t know there was a chance to be any different.
I swear choosing evil can dull oneself so hard one literally becomes dumb with blunted affect. Blunted is the next stop away from oblivion. In Oblivion, obliviousness becomes rampant, terminal velocity imminent.
She continued to bury her conscience, which is her parachute. Not deployed. Down with her plane-self.
I have empathy for them all. Desperation attracts desperation.

After 20 years she unexpectedly ran away with another man, leaving our two little daughters behind, so I raised them on my own.
The second wife had severe Borderline disorder syndrome and turned out to have a long mental history.
Although suspicious, but I don't think every person who divorced two times is always a red flag. Some of us just weren't too lucky.

Larry may have been a "bad boy" but Becky having had six marriages was a "bad girl". She managed to hook them and get a ring whereas Larry just slept with them. Both were convincing and impulsive.
Robbie, how sad... he sat down and wrote a nine page letter to Becky stating his feelings of not getting her hugs and kisses anymore. It is a rare thing for a man to express this in such a way. In this day and age, short text messages are the norm. I found that part terribly sad about that letter.
It would be interesting psychologically speaking to interview her past five husbands to hear what they had to say about her.
Also the foster-sister dynamic of going behind your sister's back and sleeping with her boyfriend. I think the sister dodged a bullet from that "Judge" gun, and then we have Larry's son who turned on him, even though he was not that credible either.
A sad case. As you pointed out Intensity of emotions does not equal Truth, or point to Love. There are many out there that believe it is a pointer to chemistry... It is usually the chemistry of the deadly sin Lust.

Humans repeat our trauma in order to master it. She didn’t have a stable home life as a child & stability felt alien to her. She might’ve felt unlovable so she picked men who weren’t likely to be able to love her- if they did love her she wouldn’t believe it, anyhow. Most traumatized people have a narrative in their head & they make choices based on that narrative. Cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias, low self esteem, negative paradigm etc they usually stuff their trauma & negative feelings using food, alcohol/substance abuse, sex, etc because dealing with it is too painful… no one ever talked to them about it. When I was growing up I was conditioned by violence not to talk about things, never to ask questions or cry- if you cry I’ll give you a reason to cry (toxic masculinity) society needs to change because talking about things is the only way to fix them… otherwise stuff like this keeps happening. I escaped the cycle but my mother didn’t, my sister didn’t, my sister’s kids didn’t- my son is working on his trauma now from my toxic family & abusive relationships I felt trapped in due to my physical health (I had genetic illnesses & cancer etc which made me dependent on others for help… unfortunately those others turned out to be abusive to my son & I… 😪💔) but I reparented myself & worked on my self esteem the right way… read all Nathaniel Branden’s books etc

You evaded by far the most obvious reason why Becky might have been attracted to Larry - he was MUCH better-looking than her. She of course should have resisted that, but it’s a simple fact that people frequently disregard negative qualities of attractive people: they either are blind to them or even if they recognize them they think they are outweighed by the positives. He wasn’t some type of model but he was still (otherwise) out of her plain, pinched, mousy, bedraggled league and his background was the only way she was able to attract him.

Tyrone was already disloyal to his own community, before going into Brad’s community to slum it with Becky.
Treason is a narc characteristic. No one wants to acknowledge the abusive and exploitive behavior towards the women and children until the same bad behavior happens in their community.

It's an ego game to see how many men they can get to marry them. Once they are married they quickly want to exit the marriage to go and feel that rush again from a totally different person. They are addicted to the chase and the endorphin release they get when a guy hits his knees and asked her to marry them.

Once the impulsivity is finished, the decisions become internal and external imperatives. It CAN become stasis, indecision, and stagnation, bred by fear.

The classic archetype of a powerful, dangerous, but complex and sensitive man being tamed and changed for the better by a virtous woman, who enters in a permanent, happy and commited relationship with him is very prevalent in almost every culture and continues to this day in romance fiction. Its kinda crazy so many people believe is actually real.

I think the judges and parole board members should be acting as the halfway houses for these guys - they might not be so keen to release someone like Larry if he's going to be living in the same house as they are.

@ 16:55 - I've always been impulsive - i am in my mid-40s, somewhat financially successful, not a criminal and not a murderer and always had success with women, and have 3 happy children... so i don't think impulsivity is ALWAYS a bad thing.

Strangely, this woman has been married five times before, yet, she's still attached to her sister's social life. That murderer should have never been released sooner than the full term prison sentence. Perhaps, he was itching for a kill again, and his threats were to harm her sister if she didn't comply.
