- Darryn Durham and Josh Hill were invited out to High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania to be the first riders on track just days before the raceway opened the gates on their 2020 season. The track, completely covered in grass, was untouched since 2019.

To see the track like that on the Wednesday before Memorial Day almost puts a sick feeling in the bottom of my stomach. The track was always fun and prepared so well for every district 5 round that was held there, but there was always something special about Memorial Day weekend at the High Point national

It’s like that every year from what I understand. A lot of the pro tracks are only ridden in a couple times a year.

1961 Born Uniontown PA. MX was the only thing I wanted to do whether racing or wrenching was a dream I never got cuz my dad lived in R.I.. I live in Vegas now. I made it back there to see Mom in Uniontown and for High Point 2019. I love this track and until 2 years ago I didn't know it existed! WTF! I always wished as some eurotrash tracks are run on green grass, Keep it like this!

Wow. So this is what happens to the Nationals tracks over the off season. Looks like they'll have a lot of work to do, before the race happens at High Point this year...if it happens this year.
Funny in late 70s early 80s I raced HP all the time. My practice track was grass.
