What are your yard projects after the long passages you've made?

Bottom paint, outboard bracket inspection and adjustment, bobstay inspection and adjustment, sink drain replacement, mast tang inspection. Windvane screw replacement. I think thats it, but my list is not in front of me. Nothing critical. Byt the inspection was worth it. The bobstay corrosion of the clevis pin was a surprise. That whole fitting was a huge clump of goose barnacles most of the passage.

Why the switch to a propane outboard? Did the T8 finally give up or was it an intentional change?

Not a propane outboard. Gasoline. T8 ran great but tilt and things were getting corroded. It was 105 lbs. Tahatsu is 61 lbs. A necessary change when then adding close to 50 lbs of steering vane. So T8 too much weight for little boat and it's transom was deforming from it. A Flicka squats hard when you stand in the cockpit. You just can't see it! Hobbyhorsing can be a problem too. Tahatsu runs great but less power. It's a sailing boat anyway. Outboards don't work in an open sea. They ventilate.
